(Somewhere on a bridge)

Text : The first time I met Senpai, it was a windless, humid summer day.
Punk A : Hold him tight! (Takes out a pair of scissors) What the hell is that one-fourth foreigner thing? It's pissing me off! I hate your eyes and hair!
Setsuna : Stop...! (But he's being held back)
Punk A : I'm gonna cut it all off! (Holds Setsuna's chin)
Setsuna : ! (Twists his head) Ah! (The scissors cut his forehead)
Punk A : I told you not to move. (Setsuna freezes with blood dripping down his chin)
Punk B : Hey? I think he's traumatized by the blood!
Setsuna : [Blood...!]
Punk A : What's that stupid look?
Punk B : I'll make you bleed some more, brat... (Gets punched in the face) Ah!
Punk A : Waaaa! Asshole!
Punk B : How did he suddenly... stop!
Punk A : Stop it...! (More punching)
Setsuna : [I lose control at the sight of blood...! The smell of blood awakens a sleeping beast inside of me...! (Alexiel with the Nanatsusaya stands in the background in shadow) Kill! Kill! Another entity is slowly awakening... my desire for more blood...]

(Firecrackers explode in their face, Setsuna lets go of the guys to cover his face. The punks fall down.)

Setsuna : !

(Kira is standing on the bridge above, holding firecrackers; apparently Setsuna and company are on the ground below the bridge. Anyway...)

Kira : Idiot! (Setsuna looks up very surprised) What are you gonna do from now on if you get so serious in a kid fight? [I really didn't think you would be so fierce...] You wanna go inside for these punks, for such a trivial thing? Only retarded people do stuff like that! (THAT smile...) Or maybe, you're just like that?
Setsuna (Holding the pendant) : I never felt the unfamiliarity of a first meeting, I thought I knew him from somewhere... [Even though he taught me lots of bad things, he also saved me many times...! Now the earrings he gave me are broken... the breeze passes through the empty holes that are still there. I don't want to believe that everything he ever did was a lie. Senpai...!]
Text : Kira Senpai...

(Meanwhile, Kira puts on his shirt, and walks into his house.)

Father : Sakuya!
Kira : Hey old man, you skipped work today? That's unusual!
Father : The police came this morning! That kid that always hang out with you, Katou, they found his body...
Kira (Smirks) : Hn? Did you tell them: "My stupid kid could've done anything"?
Father : No! I don't think you're that stupid! You used to be so gentle! It's impossible...

Kira (Touches his bruise) : You're strange... (Smiles) so strange... you should've abandoned a brat like me a long time ago! Why do you care that I'm your son? Alcohol, cigarettes, getting into fights, having affairs with girls, crashing cars and beating up teachers! In the last 11 years I've committed every possible sin... what do you want me to do? Father : What are you talking about... (Shocked) What are you saying? Sakuya!
Kira : No! Why can't you understand? I am not your Sakuya! Your son couldn't possibly be trash like me! Sakuya died when he was seven with his mother in that car accident... KIRA SAKUYA IS DEAD! (Smirks) You're really stupid, you know, you got fooled by a monster. (Leaves)
Father : Sakuya? Wait! Sakuya! Get back here! SAKUYA!

(Kira ignores him, the following is a little flashback/conversation happening in Kira's head.)

Sakuya (Inside Kira's head) : ... That's right... I... Kira Sakuya died when I was seven. I remember clearly the deal I made with you...
Text : In that car accident, I could feel Mother's body getting cold; if she didn't protect me, I'm probably dead already. But, when I thought I was dying... you appeared in front of me, a ball of light with a blood mark inside, and then you slowed turned into a human...
Kira (Who's in his last incarnation, a samurai...) : You... you don't want to die? Then if you can live, what would you want to do?
Sakuya : Hn... I want to read! I want to read a lot of books... I want to learn more...
Kira : Do you want to make a deal? Lend me your body! I need your flesh to finish something, so I want you to lend me "Kira Sakuya" for a while. Of course, I'll give you your wish.

(In the car...)

(She watches Sara's car disappear; meanwhile, Setsuna's in trouble...)

(The police hand him the lighter in an evidence case.)

Police : Do you recognize this lighter?
Setsuna (Looks it over) : Huh? I think I saw it somewhere before...
Police : Uh? Oh, after you got into a brawl in the lunch room two days ago, what did you do?
Setsuna : After lunch...? No... nothing! [That's right! Alexiel... (Remembers that HE killed Katou)]
Police : Mr. Mudou, can you come with us? We have some questions for you. Let's go! (Pull him) Hurry up!
Setsuna : Ouch! I know already! You can let go.
Kurai (Runs up) : Setsuna! Get your ass to the airport! (Setsuna turns around) There's only an hour left, Sara's going to London! She won't ever come back! What the hell are you waiting for? [Hey! Hey!] Her mother got her a fiancé over there!

Police : Sugimoto, are you alright? (The guy that got kicked... is having problems...) Hey! W... wait!
Text (Setsuna laughs and runs away) : This is probably what Alexiel wants... she doesn't want to awaken, because... she wants to become a human.
Setsuna (Gets into a taxi) : Narita Airport, NOW!!
Police (Chasing after him, scream at the taxi) : He's underage...!

(They can fight over the taxi... while Kurai looks really sad, Arakune is right...)

Arakune : Kurai... you're really a moron!
Kurai : At least I'm not that stupid to lie to myself for the rest of my life.
Arakune : To make others more important than yourself, only a fool does that. (Touches Kurai's face... and tears) Yes, and you're such a fool... I just can't leave you... Kurai.
Kurai (Crying) : Eh...

(So Setsuna finally reaches the airport, still catching his breath.)

Setsuna : Sara!
Mother : It's time to leave.
Sara : Ok.
Setsuna : SARA!

(She turns around, gasps, and Setsuna is standing right there, sweating and breathing heavily.)

Mother : S... Setsuna! (Sara turns her head, she can't seem to face Setsuna)
Setsuna : Sara!
Sara : [No! If I turn around now... he'll shake my determination, I can't turn my head!]
Police : Hey! There! (Catch up to Setsuna) Come on, it's really quick, just come with us!
Mother : Huh? What did he do now?
Police : No, we just need to question him, you'll be treated as a suspect if you run away!
Setsuna : Just give me some time! This is serious! Just a little time!
Mother : It's time, let's go, Sara... (They leave)

(Setsuna looks kinda in between sad and shock, while their mother embraces Sara.)

Mother (Pats her in comfort) : I understand... I understand, Sara! Good girl. Sara, let's go! Good girl...
Police : Come on! It's over. She's leaving with her mom. Gee... kids these days...
Sara (Kisses her mother) : Mother! (Crying) I'm sorry, Mother! (Pushes her away)
Mother : Sa...?

(Sara runs for Setsuna.)

Text : Brother, wait for me! Don't leave, turn around and look at me like always! That same smile... hold me! Don't leave!
Sara (Hanging onto Setsuna) : I don't want anything! God's blessing, Church bell tolls, or a white bouquet... I don't want it! I just want Brother. Don't leave me again! Or else, I would kill you... and then myself...
Setsuna : Let's leave! Sara!
Mother (On the floor) : Don't go, Sara-- STOP THEM...
Police (Something explodes) : Ahhh!
Setsuna : Firecrackers? [Is that...] ! (There's smoke everywhere)
Kira (Throws him a package) : Setsuna!
Setsuna : What?

(Kira steps out of the smoke.)

Kira : Setsuna, what are you waiting for? Go on your honeymoon!
Setsuna (Clears away the smoke) : Se... Senpai!
Kira : My kid brother wouldn't be stupid enough to get caught by these guys! Go! There's an exit over there! (Smiles, lighting another firecracker)
Setsuna (Smiles) : Senpai! (They have a moment to themselves...)
Police (Coughing) : What... are you doing? He could be a murderer!

(*Slash*, half of his tie falls off.)

Police : !

(Kira's Katana is at his neck. Kira withdraws the sword and hands it to them.)

Kira : Here! This is the murder weapon. It should clearly have my prints on it, you can match it with the ones on that lighter you found with Katou's body.
Police : T... then...
Kira : I killed Katou!

(So on the other end, Setsuna and Sara have left on a train.)

Text : Back then, he gave me a package.
Setsuna : Earrings! And some money.
Sara : [Brother, you're not a girl!]
Setsuna : [Senpai... thank you! From now on, you'll always be my Senpai.] (puts on the earrings)
Sara : It's great! (Smiles) You look really cute with earrings! Brother. (Setsuna grabs her hand) Ouch! What are you doing? (Sweatdrop)
Setsuna : Gimme your hand, Sara. (hands her the ring) Don't call me Brother anymore, it's Setsuna! I won't tell you again. (Serious)
Sara : ... (Blushes)

I actually like him better as SOMEBODY ELSE... no... not the one you're going to find out in the next volume... the one you find way way much later... anyway... these notes I make don't really make sense... but I really like that past story between him and Alexiel's last incarnation... later in this book... though still not as cool as Vol 11, my favorite...

Text : Close your eyes slowly in your wings, awakening from a daze... and we realize, it's only a dream... a nightmare... that ended...

(There's a vaguely angel-looking being, whatever, that's holding a ball of light. Well, it's only all in Metatron's head...)

Metatron : [Who? Who's over there? What's that in your hand? What's that round red thing? Earth? Why is Earth red? The lands... why is there blood on the land? Who are you?]
Rociel (Kisses the Earth) : Who are you talking to? Did you forget? Hahah... oh yes, you were under the impression that you got rid of me and Sister in the war of Heaven and Earth. Look closely! Great Seraphim Metatron! (He's serving a plate with a child's head on it) This is you!
Metatron : [Rociel!?]
Rociel (The plate disintegrates) : This is how you and Sevotharte shall die! (Laughs)
Metatron : [AHHHHHHHHHH]

(In the palace in Heaven, a man in a mask, Sevotharte, walks in. Actually this is Metatron's palace since he's the Chief of the Seraphims, it basically makes him the King of the angels...)

Sevotharte : What's wrong?
Maid A : Lord Sevotharte!
Maid B (Taking care of Metatron) : Lord Sevi! His Majesty Metatron had another vision!
Metatron (He looks like such a cute little kid... *but I really don't like him*) : Sevi! Sevi! He's coming! (Struggles) He's gonna kill me this time! He wants revenge! I'm so scared! Sevi! Sevi! Please help me! Sevi~~~
Sevotharte : Did he have another prediction dream?
Maid A : Yes, it's obvious from his abnormal mental reaction.
Sevotharte : Did he mention what it was about?
Maid B : Yes, I think it was... the sealed angel Rociel has awakened... as he spills blood over Assiah, he laughs and says, "Metatron, Sevotharte! This is how you shall die!"

Sevotharte : Don't worry about that dream, it's time to take your medicine!

(Later, Metatron is running toward the Water Temple where Jibrille rests.)

Metatron : Jibrille! I really miss you! Jibrille! (She just sits there, not reacting to anything... like a statue) Jibrille, what are you looking at? What do I have to do to make you hear my voice? Just how... can I make you look at me? If you can only smile at me like you use to, I'll do anything for you! I'm the King of the angels now! I'm the greatest existence! I can give you anything you want! If only... you wish, I'll tie the world up in ribbons and give it to you. Jibrille... (No reaction... a vegetable)
Sevotharte : I wonder! Why is Metatron so obsessed with that strange woman? Hey! get out here, Zaphkiel!
Zaphkiel : ! Too bad! (Walks out from the bushes) [I got caught...] (Smiles) Well, Lord Prime Minister Sevi of the Seraphim Chief!
Sevotharte : How was the meeting? Zaphkiel!
Zaphkiel : Same as always, Does it matter that I skipped it? His Majesty Metatron is just like an ordinary child who needs to be loved, Lord Sevi, maybe you were a little too strict on him? He's only a cute little boy!
Sevotharte : Ha! Cute? They're all the same! Him and that Rociel and Alexiel... using their charming appearance to deceive the world. Those two were created by our great Creator using demonic science and technology, monsters from his altered genes! If you continue to interfere with me or Metatron, I'll name you as a Rebel! The Thrones Chief Zaphkiel!

(Please read my note on the bottom if the angels' names/orders are confusing you; in the mean time, Sevotharte takes out some pointy thing and points it at Zaphkiel's neck.)

Zaphkiel (Smiles) : Hey! I was only lost! You know my eyes can't see!
Sevotharte : Ha! Don't think that excuse can save you forever! Maybe... you should've just pretended to slumber forever.

(Sevotharte leaves, the wind blows...)

Raziel : ZAPHKIEL SAMA!
Zaphkiel (Funny laugh) : [Just as I though...] Raziel-kun!
Raziel : Don't "raziel-kun" me! (He steps out through the bushes)
Zaphkiel (Covers his mouth and pushes him down) : What are you doing? Normal angels are not allowed in here!
Raziel : I'm worried about you! Everyone's saying... Zaphkiel-sama definitely wouldn't show up to that meeting!
Zaphkiel (Sweatdrop) : [I have zero credit...] Raziel! I... even if I can't see, I can handle things myself! [Listen to what the old man says.] You should know that, so don't worry! (Looks a little serious) Do you understand?

(Rociel closes the ball of light he was using as a TV; seems like he's in a depressed mood...)

Yukie's Note : If you know anything about the Order of Angels... then skip this... but as far as I know a lot of people get really confused after this chapter. There are nine Orders of angels: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels. Seraphim is the highest, and Metatron is their Chief, so in a kingdom without God he's in a sense the Ruler of Angels. Since he's a little kid, Sevotharte is like his Guardian/Prime Minister at the same time... Gabriel is the former Chief of Cherubim and Zaphkiel is the Chief of Thrones. I don't think Dominions were ever mentioned except somewhere in one of the side panels, where Yuki Kaori said that Rociel was a Dominion. Raphael is the Chief of Virtues... *Don't make me laugh*, Michael is the Chief of Powers. Supposedly in Christian sources, Anael is the Chief of Principalities, but that's not what's in this story, so I don't know who the Chief of the Principalities is... maybe Sariel??? Anyway... there are seven Archangels: Metatron, Sevotharte, Zaphkiel, Raphael, Michael, Gabriel, and Uriel. Four of them are also the Elemental Angels, but I'm not going to get into that now. But I hope this clears things up a bit. And I will be scanning a very confusing diagram of all the characters in Angel Sanctuary soon... ^_^... confusing...

Text : Tenshi Kinryouku (Angel Sanctuary)... everything began from this disc. In this computer-infested world, it suddenly grew popular among teenagers; officials believe it's the cause behind all the deaths of those students who died while using their computers in Tokyo. And Sara's best friend Saiki Ruri was also involved, she became prettier and more attractive after she played the game, but... this thing, it's like... the attraction of a demon-- that strange radiance, a dangerous trap...
Setsuna : Probably on the night of the great Tokyo blackout, Ruri died, and someone took her body. That disgusting angel Rociel...

(In the demon palace, Arakune reports the day's story to Kurai)

Kurai : Uh... Arakune, so you talked to Kira? [As you dressed up just for him...]
Arakune : I don't think he lied to me, now all there is left is the mystery of that blood mark. When Alexiel stabbed Rociel on Etenamenki... they shouldn't have been the only ones there! [So why is he the only one who was sprayed with Rociel's blood?]
Jade : That man... is not our enemy! Master!
Kurai : Jade! (Surprised that the dragon spoke up)
Jade : At least not for now! He killed Alexiel's incarnation in the past life, and changed the entire situation! The future may be altered. That would explain why I cannot see a clear path...
Kurai : [Hey! I can't be depressed at such an important time...]
Jade : But just now, I clearly saw that... Heaven has chosen the day for Tokyo to collapse; the end of Assiah is in the year 1999, July X.
Kurai (Counts) : Huly X, 1999... uh... today is july... (Shocked) HEY! ISN'T THAT TOMORROW--? [Tomorrow... it's tomorrow! The day Tokyo collapses also means that Setsuna... the day that Setsuna dies!]

(In heaven, Sevotharte comforts Metatron.)

Metatron : Tomorrow... there will be many... many people... to die... everyone... everyone will die! It's true! Sevi... I'm so scared... I'm so scared! Sevi!
Sevotharte : Don't worry! I'm here, I'll be with you, Metatron! You... can hide here safely! I won't leave you! Forever... there's nothing to be scared of, in Assiah... everything that will happen has been determined! The judgment of the Lord-- is always righteous... everything was initiated by the sins of that fallen angel, Mudou Setsuna... and the rest... only God knows.

(In a hotel; Setsuna and Sara will return to Tokyo.)

Sara : We're going back tomorrow on the first ride...
Setsuna : Yeah...
Text : Why...
Sara : If we fall asleep, tomorrow will be here...
Text : There's something stuck in my chest...
Setsuna : ... Yeah!
Text : Perhaps the more I run, that chain--- will only bond closer and tighter! (Kira is sitting in his cell) I really wish that...

Text : July, 1999
Kid A : Have you heard? Some guy named Nostra something said the Earth will be destroyed soon!
Kid B : Is that from some game? If the main character dies, you can just start over!
Text : The terror falls from above--
Kid A : No! It's a real prophecy!
Kid B : Don't worry! If you lose, just start over!
Kid A : I told you, it's not a game!
Kid B : Then what are you talking about? Don't confuse me!
Text : Falls......
Kid A : Wow! That's a huge bird!
Kid B : Really? I didn't see it!
Text : Falling--
Kid A : It's true! I saw a human-sized bird!
Kid B : Really?
Setsuna : Red rain? (Little pieces of stuff fall on him) [No! It's stone! Red stone pieces falling!]

(Setsuna is flying around in his dream state with angel wings.)

Setsuna : That light... it's so pretty! But it's too beautiful... it makes me a little sad... why? Why am I sad? [Strange, where is this place? Why is it so dark? (Follows the light) Ah! There's light ahead! (A kid is sitting in front of a computer) Who's this little kid?]
Metatron : Welcome, I'm playing a game. Look, the main character's name is Setsuna, where should we go now? Or maybe quit? If Setsuna dies, then the game is over. Everyone will die!
Screen : GAME OVER
Metatron (With his bunny) : But it's alright, I can start over! No matter how many times, I can always start from the beginning again, just like nothing happened!
Setsuna : [No!] Kid... no! If you chose your path, you can never turn back! It's your only chance, you can't start over again!
Metatron : Wrong! Forget it, I just want to start over! (Typical brat) I'll be very mad if I don't!
Setsuna : [No! Don't erase me! (Metatron presses the button)] AHHH! (Falls) [Huh? I'm alright... where am I?]

(Setsuna falls/enters Kira's room/cell; Kira gets up.)

Setsuna : Sempai!
Kira : Only your spirit flew here... your first time... Setsuna...? But don't come back to Tokyo! Don't even think about coming back for me! If you do, I'll kill you!
Setsuna (Tears are streaming down his cheeks) : I... remember now... it's you... during the long journey... you're the one who always protected me!
Kira (Smiles) : ...Too late! Heartless one!
Setsuna (Cries) : [How... how can I forget?]
Kira : You're dreaming, Setsuna.
Setsuna : [How can I not remember?]
Kira : When you wake up from your dream, you will forget me again! But that's fine, just think about Sara now. (Setsuna appears so sad) Even if you forget me, I'll never forget you. It was my free will to follow you. So don't worry about it... see, (tries to touch his face) I can't touch you like this. We always miss each other; even though I found you in your past lives, you've never paid attention to me. And when you do... it's always been too late! Don't... show that look! (Embraces Setsuna, sort of... who's really sad...) Even though I can't touch you, I can still feel your warmth. I'm alright... I died for you long ago in the battle with Rociel! But I still exist unexpectedly! (Pushes Setsuna away) Sara will be waking up any minute now, return! Return to the one who's waiting for you... [I... I'm alright...] (They part)
Sara (Wakes up) : Uh... you're awake! Setsuna... (he's crying) What's wrong?
Setsuna : I don't know... I think I had a really sad dream... a very important dream! But when I woke up, I forgot everything...
Sara : ... Yes! That reminds me of a movie...
Setsuna (Sweatdrop) : What?
Sara : This couple were cursed by some evil force; the girl turns into a hawk during the day and the boy turns into a beast at night... in that movie... even though their lover was right by their side, they could never embrace... even though they are always together, they can't meet as humans... always missing each other... [As long as the spell is not broken, they can never touch...]
Setsuna : That dream... is just like the movie...
Sara (Surprised) : ! Setsuna! Look!
Text : Forget when I awaken.

(Feathers are falling... the whole bed is full of feathers...)

Text : But it's something I wouldn't forget even in death!

(Kirie is in some abandoned factory testing out her new weapon on models... she shoots, and they fall to pieces.)

Kirie : Not bad for a spirit gun... it condenses my aura and shoots it out to destroy the materialistic bonds in an instant. My powers will be temporarily nullified... but at a short distance, it won't fail! Tomorrow, you will meet the same fate as these models! (Evil gleam) Mudou Sara...

(Setsuna and Sara embark on the voyage to return to Tokyo.)

Text : While in an unexplained anxiety, we are on our way back to Tokyo. Really, I don't know if it's the right decision...
Guy : Miss, where are you from? Wanna come with me?
Setsuna : [Picking up girls again! They have nothing better to do!]
Kirie : No! (Turns around and spots Setsuna)
Setsuna : [Huh?]
Kirie (Lands on him) : Oh, you're finally here!
Setsuna (Shocked) : AH?
Kirie : It's all your fault, I was so worried!
Guy : What? She's got a boyfriend! I better get out of here!
Kirie : Great! I'm saved!
Setsuna : [Congratulations!] Now you can get off of me.
Sara (Jealousy kicks in) : SETSUNA? Who is that... girl?
Setsuna (He's hopeless) : This girl was getting harassed by some guy...
Kirie : Yeah! This guy's been harassing me, all this time!
Setsuna (Sweating) : WHAT?
Kirie : Why are you asking me out when you've got a girlfriend, are you breaking up?
Setsuna : AH (Scared of sara) UH! Don't lie! I just helped you! [Some other guy was harassing you!]
Kirie : [You're scaring me!]
Sara : Setsuna, what's going on? Why are you always~~~
Setsuna : I didn't! She made that up!

(Later, they sit together eating at McDonalds...)

Kirie (Big smile) : Oh! Please don't be mad, I apologize. My name is Enjyou Kirie, please eat all you want!
Setsuna (Vein, guess he's still pissed) : Ha! I'm getting my share back!
Sara (Smiles) : [Is it alright?]
Kirie (A little sad) : Because I saw you two were so happy... I was a little jealous... so I played a little trick on you. (Smiles) I ran away from home... for my lover!
Setsuna : What?
Kirie : I... you should know just by the looks of me that I came from a traditional family,
Setsuna (Thinking) : ... (sweatdrop)
Kirie : So I've been educated in the strictest fashion... my family forced me to leave my secret lover! He was sent to live in Tokyo alone, but he used an alias and wrote me several letters. But recently, I haven't received anything... I am so worried about him, I lied to my family saying that I was going to school, and I came to Tokyo alone... but, I don't really know my way around... and met that really weird guy... I'm so scared! Actually, my boyfriend looks like Setsuna... I envied you two when I saw you were so happy... I'm sorry.
Sara : No... that's alright! (Nudges Setsuna) Right? Setsuna?
Setsuna : [Do you really believe her?]
Sara (Smiles) : It really takes courage to come to Tokyo alone, your boyfriend must really be something! But he really looks like Setsuna? What a coincidence!
Kirie (Remembers Rociel) : Uh... yes, really alike... they're like twins... so similar! (Sad)
Sara (Over-enthusiastic) : Oh! The address on this letter is not that far from here, we'll help you!
Setsuna : What? Hey! Sara!
Kirie : Thank you, you're really kind people.
Setsuna (Whispers) : Hey... hey, Sara, you actually believe that strange story? And we're also in a hurry!
Sara : Please! We'll just help her out a little bit! I can tell from her eyes... that her love is really painful! I can understand her!
Kirie : Let's go!
Setsuna (Scratches his head) : Huh? [But I thought...] Your hand is wrapped in bandages, are you hurt? (Kirie slaps his hand away) [That girl...]
Kirie : Yeah... it hurts when you touch it! But it's not serious, don't worry about it.
Setsuna : [I feel... a strange animosity from her!]

(At the police station; Kira's dad is there to see his son.)

Officer : Mr. Kira, please come in!
Kira : Dad...
Father : Right now... I need to go to Hokkaido; because of your incident... they're a bit hesitant... but... I'll be back soon. If you really killed that guy... I must apologize to that boy too! If you're guilty, then I am too for raising you. Sakuya... let's get through this together!
Kira (Stares at him for a while, and smiles in that same carefree manner) : Damn it... that's impossible! Can't you understand? Didn't I make it very clear last time? I'm not the real Kira Sakuya! You're real son didn't commit any crimes! You don't need to feel responsible!
Father : Sakuya?
Kira (Gets up) : It seems you just won't understand no matter how I say it.
Officer : Hey! Don't do anything stupid!
Kira (Cracks the two-way mirror on the wall with his fist) : I'll just have to show you!
Officers (In the other room) : AH! The mirror broke! Damn it!
Father : Why did you do that... Sakuya... (Kira's hand is bleeding) Ah! You're bleeding! Let me see your wounds!
Kira (Smiles faintly) : Wounds? Ha... what wounds? (His hand is perfectly normal)
Officer : !
Kira : Now do you understand that I'm a monster? As long as I'm here, this body will never die! Even though the blood I bleed can't be taken back, as long as there is more blood, I can regenerate! I'm a spirit, I took his body when your son Kira Sakuya died... which means, we're total strangers! Mr. Kira... look at this blood mark on my chest! Kira Sakuya didn't have that before he was seven! That's my mark... the proof of my existence!
Father : L... lies! I don't believe your tricks! No matter what you say, you're my son!
Kira (Picks up a glass piece) : Tricks? (He slashes his wrist, and the blood spills on his father)
Father : !
Kira (The wound heals) : Was that a trick?
Father : Ahhhhhhh!
Kira (Smiles) : See... are you disgusted? Do you hate me now? (The police are restraining him) Yes! Hate me! Hate me; hate that I've fooled you for eleven years! Go on to Hokkaido or wherever you're going! Now! Don't ever return to Tokyo! (He's taken back to his cell) I don't want to see your face! I hate pretending to be your son! (The old man falls in depression) [I'm sorry, Father! I... it's the only way. Hurry... leave Tokyo!]
Father : Sakuya... no...
Kira : [Please forget about me! And begin a new life! I... and the Sakuya inside me will pray for your happiness...]
Father : Please don't take anything away from me anymore...

(Outside an abandoned factory...)

Setsuna : That's the address on the letter... but Sara... it seems like a factory.
Sara : Anyone here? (Kicks an arm) Ah!

(The whole factory is filled with models/mannequins...)

Setsuna : What... what is this? (Scratches his head with a model's hand.)
Sara : [Throw that arm away! It's disturbing!]
Setsuna : A model factory? (Takes the letter) You two wait here! I'll go ask around.
Sara (Comforts Kirie) : Don't worry! I'm sure he just wrote it wrong.
Kirie : That's alright... (Sees the ring on Sara's hand) ... Sara, what's the stone on your ring?
Sara : Huh, this? Sorry, it's only a toy ring! But it's... (So gentle) the first present Setsuna gave me; it has a lot of value to me... it's more important than any diamond ring, it's my treasure!
Setsuna (Outside) : Excuse me... please! Is this the same address on this letter?
Stranger : Letter?
Setsuna (Reaches into his pocket) : Oh, here... (Feathers fall out) [That girl's letter... turned into feathers?]
Kirie (Starts unwrapping her arm) : Yes... anything from your lover... appears to be a treasure! Such... innocent... and naïve ideas! I'll just send you to Heaven... in your happiness! (Completely unwraps her arm)
Kirie (Points the weapon at Sara) : This is the end! Mudou Sara!

(Kirie is smiling evilly with her weapon pointed at Sara.)

Kirie : Don't trust people so easily!
Sestuna (Rushes in) : Wait! You bitch! Did Rociel send you?
Kirie (Turns her head) : Eh! You're too late! (Shoots)
Sara (Raises her hand to block the attack) : Ahhhh!

(The light from the window reflects off her ring and onto Kirie's face.)

Kirie (Covers her eyes) : !
Setsuna : [Now!] (Jumps and pushes Kirie down)
Kirie : AHH!
Setsuna (Examines Kirie on the floor) : She's unconscious...
Sara : Setsuna... such power... it's good that now this place is more ventilated. I can't believe Kirie-- she really is...
Setsuna : You saw it yourself!
Sara : You saved me again... Setsuna.
Setsuna : At that instant... she seemed to hesitate.
Sara : Oh! That's because... the ring you gave me reflected light into her face.
Setsuna (Smiles) : Really...
Sara (Laughs) : Yeah! The ring saved me! (But then she sees Kirie)
Kirie (In the process of getting up) : I won't... allow any interference! I won't allow you do interfere, Mudou Setsuna!

(She shoots the weapon at Setsuna. Setsuna turns around, but it's too late.)

Sara : SETSUNA! (Blood spills)

(Sara had thrown herself in front of Setsuna and blocked the shot. She falls onto him.)

Text : Slowly falling... the red...

(Her ring breaks into pieces. Setsuna at that moment looks very helplessly sad.)

Sara : [Brother... Brother... Brother... Brother...]
Setsuna (Many memories flash by him) : Sara, you don't really have to cry just because you fell.
Sara : But my Kimono got dirty... Mom'll be so mad~~~
Setsuna : Well, it's your fault! (Covers his ears) [Just shut up...] Stop crying! It's getting annoying! I'm leaving now! [The market fair's gonna be over soon]
Setsuna : Brother... (Cries because she thinks Setsuna has left...) Brother~~~ Huh~~~

(There's a hand in her face, holding the red-stoned ring.)

Setsuna : Here! It's your favorite red stone, this was expensive! I saved the money from the goldfish game, so stop crying!
Sara (Puts it on) : Huh? Why is it so big? Am I supposed to wear it on my thumb? Strange...
Setsuna (Runs off) : That damn old guy at the market! I'll go exchange it!
Sara (Stops him) : Brother! That's alright! sara likes this red stone. (Setsuna blushes) I really like it! (Smiles)
Text : One day, I will wear this red stone ring... and become a happy bride!
Setsuna (Sara is lying in her own blood) : ... Sara? SARA!
Text (Young Setsuna...) : Does it hurt? Where does hurt? Sara?
Sara : B... Brother... (Spits up blood) it hurts... it really hurts... Brother, I'm so scared... (Raises her hand) what can I do... the ring... broke... it won't do... without that ring... I'm sorry... the ring brother gave me... (Setsuna just stares at her, still in trauma... Sara smiles) I guess it won't do... can we... be happy... like this? [I wish you can be happy... forever...] (Closes her eyes)
Sara : [Don't worry, Setsuna, we will never separate. As long as we live, we'll meet again! (Sara smiles at him)]
Setsuna : Lies... only a lie?
Text (Smiles) : As long as... we're alive...
Setsuna (Shakes her violently) : Hey! Open your eyes! Sara! Don't fool around! Wake up!
Text : As long as we're alive...
Setsuna (Cries and screams) : Please don't! WAKE UP-- wake up... I beg you, please wake up... (Cries, holding Sara's body) why... (The shirt on his back is torn) why... (Kirie is stunned, I don't think she knows what she's got herself into...) why... (Something is coming out of his back)
Kirie : Huh?
Setsuna : WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

(Full feathered wings tear through his shirt and appear on his back. Kirie is paralyzed by the light he emits.)

Kirie : AHHH! [His pulse has such... frightening energy! N... no! I can't move my body...] (She's caught in the light) Ahhhh!
Katan (His voice comes from above her) : Kirie!
Kirie : !
Katan (Appears from a whirlpool) : Take my hand now!
Kirie (Looks up in surprise) : Katan! I... I don't need you to help me!
Katan : Fool! Don't you get it? Rociel-sama summoned an important understudy like you because he planned from the very beginning to abandon you after you've lived out your usefulness! If you can just listen, take my hand! Or else I'll be trapped here too!
Kirie : ... Liar! (Cries in shock) You're lying! He said he loved me... Rociel-sama... (Screams) LIAR!
Katan (Reaches for Kirie) : KIRIE--! (But she's already caught in the explosion) [Kirie...] ! [That's... he's... (Tears flow down Setsuna's cheeks) that's Alexiel?] (Setsuna looks at him) ! (Half of Katan's body is torn apart) [Rociel-sama!] (Falls)
Text (Flashback to when he was a little kid, and Rociel is smiling at him) : Perhaps it's because there are traces of me still remaining inside of you from the time you were created... the Child of God-- Katan!
Katan (Falls) : [Rociel-sama...]

(Kira suddenly stands up with a very serious/fierce expression.)

Officer : Kira, what's wrong? Do you feel like talking now?
Kira : ...Get down!
Officer : Huh? What the hell are you talking about?
Kira : I told you to get down! Moron! Forget it! It's too late anyway!
Officers : ... What? Huh? (There's a lot of light, and then an explosion)

(Raziel rushes in to Zaphkiel's office in heaven.)

Raziel : Zaphkiel-sama! Assiah...

(Zaphkiel looks out the window without answering.)

Kurai : W... what's going on? Such power... (She's riding on a dragon over Tokyo) the buildings... Tokyo is engulfed in a ball of light!
Michael (Maybe it's Michael; I can't really tell...) : Heheh!

(There's somebody else that looks like Raphael, though I can't really see his face, and Metatron is sitting on his throne, holding his bunny. This is one of the few times he looks serious.)

Metatron : [Die!]

(The buildings fall apart, and Setsuna is crying as Sara falls down; time seems to stop.)

Kira (Who can sense what's going on even though he's not there) : Setsuna! Sara... died... she died for you...? I didn't know there was another person who would give up their life to change your destiny!

(Setsuna's pendant breaks from his sudden energy blast, and as the pendant breaks, Kira's body is wounded as well. He falls down, bleeding.)

Kira (In pain) : Can't you even hear my voice? Rage and hatred made you lose your mind... do you want to... kill me once more...? DO YOU WANT TO DESTROY THIS WORLD? SETSUNA--!

(Setsuna's energy explodes over Tokyo.)
