setsuna (major shock) : my lord...?
woman (in closer look, she's definitely not human, she has 4 arms) : I-hear-your-voice... even-now, I-hear-the-voice-that-calls-me... (close up of setsuna's hand which is holding a piece of the blood crystal) is-that-where-it-comes-from...? (her hand reaches into the cage) my-lord...
setsuna (backs off in fear) : stop!! don't come any closer! [what... the hell is this thing...!!] don't touch me...!
(the woman freezes expressionlessly, suddenly a shot is fired and hits her)
setsuna : ! (looks over to the side) ...you... are still alive...!?
kamael (holding a gun that just fired, his body's pretty messed up) : ----my body went through many wars and more than half of it is artificial. I won't die just like this.
(that shot blew away half of the strange woman's face, although she's not bleeding and it doesn't look like flesh, a few more shots are fired, hitting her all over the place)
setsuna (calls out worriedly) : hey!! are you alright!? hey!! why don't you run away!?
woman : because... just-now... my-lord... told-me... not-to-move. (setsuna seems very surprised)
setsuna (after a moment of silence) : ...oh really... (the look on his face says that he's plotting something) I don't know what is going on here... but alright...! break this cage!!
kamael : !
(the "muscles" on her face wiggles... and regenerate as if she was never hurt. she grabs the bars of the cage and with one pull, broke open a big hole)
setsuna : yes!!
kamael : messiah!!
setsuna (turns to look at kamael coldly) : take care of him!
kamael : !
(the strange woman jump at kamael while setsuna runs out of the room, leaving them behind)
setsuna (runs up a set of stairs) : [I don't know who she is and I'm sorry... but I need her to look after my back right now!!] ! (he almost trips at the top of the staircase, the main lobby is a bloody mess with many dead guards on the floor) WHA... (a close up on the wounds show that they all died from claws) can these these wounds be!? that big woman back there!? [s... she killed this many people all by herself!? what kind of a monster is she-----!!!]
(more guards arrive down the hall)
guards : h... hey!! look, what the hell is this---!? damn it, who could've done this...!!
setsuna : [crap, I'll be discovered! (think~~ think hard~~~~ looks down at the body that he almost tripped on....)] ...!
(down the hall, the guards sudden hear a scream, setsuna runs towards them wearing the dead guy's shirt)
setsuna : Wahhhh!! someone... someone get over here!! there's a big man with a metal mask down there who's in trouble!
guards : what!? kamael-sama!?
setsuna (continue his act) : [I can't die here!] yes! (he points them the way, and is ready to go but a guard suddenly stops him)
guard : wait!! I'm surprised that there is someone on this squad who doesn't know kamael-sama's name... show me your face!! (puts a hand on setsuna's shoulder)
text : I... can't die... here.
setsuna (has no choice) : ! (he pulls down the bandages over his blinded eye to cover the rest of his face)
text : that right. (he turns around with a deadly glow in his eye, holding a gun) not until I kill rociel------
(blood splattered on the page. elsewhere, michael is seriously feeling too sorry for himself ~.~ )
setsuna (voice won't go away from michael's head) : [becauase you don't really think that you won, but you're afraid to admit that you're only a loser, aren't you?]
michael (shouts to the shadow in his own mind) : SHUT UP!! (he sat somewhere alone under the moonlight, moment of solitude) that bastard...! [I did win! if I don't think that way, I would break down completely, like what happened that time-----]
(michael falls into another flashback)
text : after my battle with aniki *older brother*, the demon forces retreated to the lands of hell. I was made the greatest hero in the war but...

(at the battle site, michael stood alone in the center of a large crater and no one dared to approach him. his power continued to burn whatever was in range)

michael (after a moment, he says in a low voice) : raphael...! go heal the burns that you just got...!
raphael : no one can understand lucifer... no one can reach into his heart. if you have a problem with that, then make yourself much much stronger, until he won't be able to forget you even if it is in loath. ...for this is only the beginning.
michael (yells) : ALRIGHT ALREADY, NOW GO HEAL YOUR FACE!! I CAN'T STAND TO LOOK AT IT!!
raphael : ...before that, you got a light?
(michael looked up at him in surprise, there are still tears lingering on his cheeks, and raphael gave him a very sincere smile. end of flashback, michael is still sitting alone under the night sky...)

text : soon... I'll be coming to meet you soon. I will give you a beautiful nightmare. just you wait, the beautiful one who will give birth to me...
(rociel's place, he's standing next to something that looks like a brain in a test tube. I have an idea of what it could be but... *spoiler ^^*)
rociel : ......heheh, so it's him...
text : ...is it about to begin...
rociel : ...then it's about time I get going------
text : this will be most enjoyable.
rociel : you will wait for me, won't you? ------how can I not behold such interesting things with my own eyes. this is afterall the archangel grand trial which does not appear once for many centuries. not to mention that the subject is the water angel jibrille of the elements. raphael (reads his assignment) : -----and if I come back forfeiting the mission, you can arrest me for treason--- is that so! you're trying to get me as far away from the trial as possible... how frightening.
sevotharte (walks away) : those are your greatest compliments----- the white company will be watching, don't do anything stupid.
white guard (salutes raphael) : raphael-dono, we should be going.
(raphael looks down at the lobby from the balcony where he stood, below, sara was being escorted to the trial chamber by four guards and sisters. she looked up and smiled at him)
text : ...you're a fool, jibrille... or rather, sara-chan. (raphael puts on his cap - meaning ready to leave)
white guard : great virtue raphaeal!
text : didn't you say so yourself? I am a cowardly man who play with women like toys. you were right, it's true. you're amazing, sara-chan. so then why did you trust someone like me? ...that was your biggest mistake. this is farewell, because you are about to vanish.

(sara enters the grand trial chamber. it's filled with angels and she looks around uncertainly, walking slowly to her stand)

michael (suddenly appear unexpectedly at the door, overly calm) : the demonic sword nanatsusaya sealed by heaven was created from the fifth element Ether which does not exist on earth. the one and only sword made from supernatural intellectual mineral, it is the strongest in this world. it was said to be the container of the soul of a particular evil and threateningly powerful fallen angel... and rivaled with my flaming sword, but I didn't expect... that the soul it sealed was of my brother, the demon lord lucifer... I am surprised. (although he didn't look a bit surprised, just more scary, very scary glance) ------the messiah stays and everyone else begone. do not get in my way. (his eyes are glowing in scary light)
angels (super scared by him) : y... yes sir!
(when only michael and setsuna are in the room)
michael : ...that sword without that man - demon lord lucifer's soul and only exists by his final wish to protect you is only but an empty shell of the nanatsusaya... but you can't use his spiritual powers anymore. however if you manage to control it, and synchronize with it, you can possibly call on a greater power even than before... (suddenly starts laughing, leaning on his sword) but that is under the condition that you become even stronger than my brother... oh this is too funny... my brother, that bastard...! (even though he's laughing, the way he looks at setsuna is not funny at all) the mastermind of the greatest rebellion that shook heaven... that man who is the biggest traitor, the source of all evil...!! lost his heart to a woman like alexiel... I don't know what happened but not only did he turn into a sword, in the moment he died, all he thought was to protect HER...!! (suddenly jumps up and attack setsuna) no matter what, I can't accept that!!
setsuna (holds nanatsusaya) : that... (looks michael right in the eye) is because you love your brother more than anything, right?
(*clash* michael's sword falls aside, you see setsuna afterwards leaned over michael with nanatsusaya at his neck)
setsuna : the sword that swore to protect me did not have any reaction, because right now you have no intention to kill me at all. you've taught me on earth before that the battlefield is to kill or be killed, but look at yourself right now. admit it.

(suddenly a sound echoes in the chamber)

(he sat up now, and regained his calm) to impeach the water angel jibrille... suspected of immoral acts with the messiah. this is the bell toll which marks the opening of this unprecedented holy trial. it will be known to all the angels of every class in this kingdom.
setsuna (shock) : [sara's trial has begun...!!?] where is the trial!? tell me, michael!!
michael (not moved at all) : going off to your death? sevi must be ready and waiting.
setsuna : please!!
michael (look up) : you'll definitely be killed...

(elsewhere, metatron's chamber)

(behind him, metatron *as if possessed* suddenly jumps up and grabs onto him from behind, the bunny doll rips apart from the inside where this nasty looking organism with many many eyeballs *seen on the cover of volume 13* gush out and wraps around the guard. the last thing you hear is the guard's scream)

guard 2 : oh... she says that it's too uncomfortable to have her hands tied behind her back, so we're moving it to the front... don't worry, the security is on full guard. we placed a device in her mouth so she can't bite her tongue and astral powers are sealed in that room. her activities are monitored by the camera 24 hours a day.
(in the jail cell, some guards are helping barbiel recuff her hands to the front, she looks up meaningfully at the camera on the ceiling, meanwhile, in metatron's palace...)
sister (bust in) : metatron-sama!! I've just called the doctor! metatron... (metatron's room is completely empty, only on the ground is the remains of the rabbit doll which looks like it exploded from the inside)

(someone walks up to the curtain that currently hung over the supreme justice's stand, sara looks up nervously, the curtain parts and sevi appears)
angel (announcer) : supreme justice zuriel is absent due to sickness, in the case of this emergency, as chairman of the seraphim high council, by rights, prime minister sevotharte will act as the replacement for the supreme justice. (all angels start gossipping again)
sara (shock) : [what...!?]
rociel (in his balcony seat, dies laughing) : AHAHAHAHAHAH, that's great!! he has such a wonderful sense of humor! I just hope he won't be digging his own grave. see? wasn't it a good idea to come? katan. (katan is standing behind rociel as a servant with his coat)
angels (more gossip) : w...what is going on? the prime minister is going to be the justice himself...!? isn't that just the same as placing jibrille-sama's life in his hands then?
sara : [sevi... that man...!!! he's trying to get me convicted no matter what...!!]
anouncer guy (from here on, he will be known as feriel) : the accused, the water angel jibrille of the elements, place your hand over the bible.

feriel : do you swear in the name of god that what you say will be the truth and nothing but the truth?

sara (struggling) : ah... [it can't be... no...] ahh...
feriel (last call) : NOW!! please answer, jibrille-sama!! (sara looks up wide-eyed)
(meanwhile... a particular idiot: namely the main character of the story, is struggling in the ruins of lower heaven, TRYING though not very successfully to find a way up *gee, isn't yukie just sarcastic today*)
setsuna (stumble) : ugh!! (leans his weight on nanatsusaya) [fuck...!!! without my wing, my wounds can't heal and I obviously can't use any astral powers...!! my eye hurts and the wound where my wing got cut off is still bleeding...!! I don't even have half of my normal strength...! I can't... rescue sara like this...!! and rociel...!!! I can't kill rociel...!!] (suddenly...) ! (something jump out and attack him) [what the hell is this!? a demon!!? that's right...!! michael did say that hell collided with heaven...]
(just when setsuna thought he was dead, the demon disintegrates in a ball of light in front of him, setsuna looks up to find his lucky star)
michael : I can't stand it anymore. is this the man that has even my brother's recognition? (michael stands over setsuna holding a laser cannon/gun that's still smoking) until you show me your worth, I will not accept you as the messiah. there are demons in this vicinity who cross the border freely after the earth plate shift to hunt angels.
setsuna (surprise) : [michael...!!]
michael : where's my position gonna be if you got slaughtered by these small fry? (yell at setsuna) now get on board!! this is only until nightfall!!!
(hahahah~ mika-chan is cute, there's even a dealine to helping people -_-;; anyway, a small ship appears in the air behind him)
text (setsuna looks up at him in awe) : strong----- strong and brave soul, the second lord of light commanding the armies of heaven. michael, the angel of fire. the flame inside him rages so great that it could even burn himself into ash------ burning-----
(meanwhile - time to get back to raphael... from the time when the white guard starts following him around)
white guard : raphael-sama, from now on, all your actions will be reported to me...
raphael (shoo him away) : can you not get so close to me? I don't like men. (-_- and he says that with the same expression... thinks about barbiel) [the problem is with her... the big question is WHEN she will make her move...!]
(in the control room that is monitoring barbiel, the computer starts beeping)
angel 1 : what's going on?
angel 2 : that woman sabotaged the camera!!

(they break into barbiel's cell)

(on the airship, a female flight attendent brings raphael a drink)
flight attendent : raphael-sama... raphael-sama, there's still time before we land, would you like to have a drink?
raphael : ...hn... you're right, I'll take it... [barbiel...]
(back to barbiel, she's choking up blood)
angel 1 : commander barbiel...!! how can this happen! raphael-sama's hostage committed suicide...!! (meaning you're as good as dead -_-)
angel 2 : that ring...!! it's stuck to her finger and doesn't look like something you find outside... it might have been carrying poison.
angel 1 : we must keep this incident completely secured. if raphael-sama hears about her death, the hostage is pointless.
angel 2 : and contact sevotharte-sama immediately-----
angel 1 (look up at the camera on the wall) : -----but how did she sabotage the camera anyway? (scratch head)
angel 2 : hey! gimme a hand to carry her out, let's get her to the emergency room...
(suddenly barbiel who is suppose to be half dead opens her eyes and pulls out an extendable needle/spike from her ring and stabs the angel closer to her)
angel : ! (dead)
other angel : don't move!! you bitch...!! ...you were hiding something like that...!? (pointing gun at her) you didn't drink poison? but what about the blood...
barbiel (scroll up her skirt, there's a cut on her leg) : it's... from here. (and while the angel was distracted, she knocked him out with her knee) but it's a high to look, have you learned a lesson?
(she finds the key to her handcuffs on the angel and escapes, knocking out all the other guards outside)
guards : the hostage is escaping!! after her!!! she must not get out!! GO!!
(...at the same time on michael's airship)
michael : hey, messiah. don't think that I'm helping you. I'm only doing this for myself, I don't take orders from anyone. it's just that... even I can't stand sevotharte anymore. the guardians of the four elements are a peculiar force in heaven. even someone as disagreeable as jibrille is close to us like our little sister... I can't stand to let that mask guy who just popped out of nowhere get the better of her. and he sends me off to the borders on a mission fighting demons in fear that I might get in his way! but since raphael's still back there and I didn't want to disobey orders...!
setsuna : raphael... that's... the blond angel who revived my body...? and... who took sara. (flashback to the scene back on earth)
michael (lean back) : yeah, and jibrille was taken by sevi soon afterwards. though it is rare for raphael to be so concerned about that woman.
setsuna (thinking) : [the angel of wind of the four elements, raphael... and the angel of water jibrille... that is sara's real identity...! and now she's on trial as mudou sara... for her relationship with her real brother... in short, me. I won't let it happen!! not again, what happened on earth... I won't let sara get hurt again!!!] (suddnely, he grips his right eye in pain) WAHHH!!

setsuna (the eye glows with eerie light) : I can see it...!! what's going on...!? I can see... (it's like his mind wandered to a different space) [this is the court house...!? so many people here... (he sees sevi on the supreme justice's stand) sevotharte...!! (and below...) sara!!! (he sees katan approaching, holding a plate of drinks) that guy... he's that angel who was messing around in tokyo way back...?]
katan : rociel-sama, how has it been going?
setsuna : ["rociel-sama"...!?]
text (rociel's right eye glows strangely too) : now, it's showtime! just watch her pathetic look under their accusations and blames through my eye!
setsuna : ! [this is... rociel letting me see through his vision!!]
feriel (to jibrille) : if you continue to remain silent, it will only be to your disadvantage, jibrille.
setsuna : [sara!! (sara is crouching in her stand covering her mouth) silent!? why don't you refute them, sara!! you're not the type who would keep quiet!!]

setsuna : [sara... seems strange!?]
feriel : ...now, we were thinking of calling someone very crediable who knows her very well to appear as witness, unfortunately he is absent today for a special mission... but take a look at this hologram. (sara looks up slowly)

sara & setsuna (shock) : [our child...!!? (the angels start muttering again)]
sara : [bringing... bringing my body out here... and a child... it has to be a lie...!! and even raphie-kun... sevotharte...!! you're doing everything to put me to death...!!]
sevotharte (holds up a glass bottle, inside is a tiny fetus) : this is the evidence. along with the testimony of the highest doctor in heaven, who has very close ties to the accused as among the elemental angels. jibrille... ...what do you have to say?
text : well, Jibrille, as everyone is watching, won't you let them hear what you call justice?
sevotharte : ----or is your silence saying... that you admit to the crimes that you have committed!? if you do not speak, then you are admitting to being guilty!
text : accuse me all you like, if you can-----
(sara slowly looks up at sevi, there's still tears on her face but she has a very, very angry look on her face - anger and hate, and she raises her right hand and in front of the whole court, points her finger at sevi in silent accusation)
text : even someone as stupid as I knows one thing, sevotharte. I... will not forgive you. if you play so dirty just to get me convicted, then I will reveal you.
sevotharte (glares at sara) : ...hmph.
setsuna (watching through rociel's eye) : [sara...!!]
sevotharte : the accused seems tired, we will have a break. the trial will continue in 20 minutes! (sara walks out of the trial chamber)
setsuna (yells trying to reach her with his spiritual form) : [SARA------!!!]
mysterious man (the cloaked guy that rociel ran into before, notices setsuna's spirit) : [have you come... alexiel...!!]
(elsewhere, outside a secret base, metatron and the white guard leading him killed the guards and opened the sealed gates. there is a strange symbol on the gate which you will see a few more times that looks like a star with an eye at the center)
metatron (blankly) : what... is this place...?
white guard (possessed) : look, you can already see it, can't you? this is the place where you and I used to sleep... the coffin-like uterus which we were not even permitted to leave... (inside the chamber is a funky looking container, looks somewhat organic with wires hanging from it and marked with the same star/eye symbol) it is "the cradel"...
metatron (looks up at it blankly) : it frightens me, sandolphon...
(meanwhile, raphael who is on the airship *with the flight attendent lady sitting in his lap ^^;;*, his wrist communicator suddenly beeps)
barbiel : raphael-sama! raphael-sama, it's me!!
raphael (grab his wrist and push the flight attendent aside) : barbiel!? you escaped!?
barbiel (somewhere on one of the lower heavens, in the driver seat of a vehicle) : yes, somehow. just a little unhealthy from being femished and the lack of exercise, but nothing to worry about. I redesigned the ring that the army distributed into something very convenient just for fun. being an assistant, our priority is not to become an obstruction to our masters, committing suicide is only the very last resort. but--- did you really think I would commit suicide?
flight attendent : ?
raphael : ......
barbiel (the flight attendent who is sitting on raphael's lap has a very funny face) : but besides me, who do you think is capable of monitoring raphael-sama's female relations? you're not allowed to do anymore than kiss that woman over there. *heart*
raphael (smile) : I'm glad I didn't lose an excellent assistant, barbiel.
barbiel : of course! anyway, I'm sending out a signal, let's meet up soon.
raphael : understood.
white guard (suddenly appears behind raphael) : great virtue raphael! (holds a gun to raphael's head) ...if you mean to go to your assistant... that is disobeying military command and god's will...
raphael (calmly) : that's not god. you mean the master of you military dogs sevotharte... don't you?
white guard : sevotharte-sama's command is god's command. please think of the consequences of your disobedience...
raphael : I'll be stripped of the title of the elemental angel and put on trial in the footsteps of jibrille... of course my crime is many times of hers and I'll be put to death without a doubt... something like that. ...even a fool knows what to do, no one would wish for their own downfall. I always only think for myself. I wouldn't go get involved in jibrille's matter just because the hostage returned safely... only a moron would do that.
white guard : ...that is correct! now, let go of that woman, we are soon to arrive at our destination.
flight attendent : no!
text : that's right, that's the kind of man I am. none of these women noticed the darkness inside me, except... that girl. (close up of sara) yes... somehow-------- (suddenly raphael stands up and KOed the guard with a wave of his hand *wind blades* and his expression still didn't change)

(suddenly the space around their airship distorts into a portal)

a voice : an alternative dimension made from "akasha". (note: I don't know what it is, but that's the furigana. the kanji literally says "infinite magnetic field") stay where you are, a good show is about to begin. stay where you are and watch closely. (michael turns around in shock, behind him, setsuns is standing on his feet but his expression doesn't look like setsuna, with a cruel smile on his face and his right eye glowing unnaturally) you've really been a nuisance, like a few little insects buzzing around noisily.
michael : [messiah----?]

[you are in a lot of trouble, messiah...!!! if it's his doing, we won't be able to break the magnetic field so easily...!] heh... it's true that we guardian angels of nature would get along better with the organic angel... but that really doesn't have to do with anything. the only reason is because I really don't like you.
rociel (through setsuna) : but I like you. I love people like you who avoids me like a snake, such as sevotharte... I want to give him a warm embrace. so stay here and watch. you guys like "her" don't you? things will be getting interesting soon, and then it will be your turn. announcement : the trial now continues!!
text : I knew this was going to happen---- even that raphael-sama... (she usually calls him raphie-kun) sealed my words by tricking me into drinking that medicine, right now, no one is on my side. and they brought my real body back from earth... and gave... such a testimony... and... even showed me our child...! the lifeless child soaked in formaline... was that... really me and... setsuna's...? ...I can't think anymore...

(suddenly the main entrance gates are shoved open and someone walks in)
raphael : of course there are objections. (his shirt is rather untidy, coat half hanging from his shoulder, hair is messed up, all showed that he rushed to get there) but I'm not the one to say these objections. [ahh, I'm exhausted... that's it, I had enough.]
guard (behind him) : r... raphael-sama!! the trial is in progress...
sevotharte : [did he ignore my command----!? raphael...!!?]

(raphael ignores him and walks right towards sara)

(the following is one of my favorite scenes in vol 15 ^^;; -> raphael walks up to sara who's standing on the accused stand, leans over, and kisses her)
setsuna (from where he is watching) : [sara------!!!]
(everyone watches in horror... public display of affection ^^;; what they didn't notice was raphael's left hand which seemed to be drawing sara close to him, placed over her throat, is glowing... and then the first one to break this long silence and bring everyone's attention back is...)
sara : ...S... STOP IT!! YOU PERVERT! (accompanied by a very loud *slap*... sara backs away, covering her mouth in horror...)
raphael (smiles) : that's much better. you're a girl who's meant to say what's on her mind, sara-chan.
sara (shock) : [my voice...!!]
prosecutor : w... what's going on!! doing such a forbidden act in this serious place...! you cannot deny in front of all these witnesses! raphael-sama!!
