(saiha going wild all over the place)

recca : damn it-- relax! saiha! (the dragon calms) fuu! compared to nadare, you’re easily excited.

recca (VERY BIG) : ALL OF YOU JUST SHUT UP! a really strong opponent like saicho lost to me just because of some heart condition! how can you call that a real win? get up here! kuu and hokage must finish this! if it’s over just like this, saicho won’t be satisfied with it either!
audience : [blah blah blah]
daikoku : that kid......
minamio : actually cares about how saicho feels?
kukai (turn around) : fine.

yukie's note : in the anime at this point, I thought he was a big idiot, the biggest one I’ve ever seen, but in the manga I thought he’s very reasonable, yeah of course saicho won’t be satisfied that he lost to some heart condition and not a real fight. now if the anime would only word things a little differently... I think this is another thing that could’ve been better. add on to my list!

Volume 6 Chapter 3 : Kuu VIII (Kukai the Buddha)

audiences : what the hell is that guy doing? didn’t the hokage win already? why does he want to fight another match with kukai? is he a idiot?
side text : facing such a disobedient pain! the ref tatsuko is in trouble-
recca : [come on! come on! (gesture)]

(kukai takes off his shirt, getting ready. tatsuko is really mad)

tatsuko : hey! those two guys are gonna fight on their own! what the hell am I doing here then!
domon : we’re in trouble too......
fuuko : he is such a pain in the ass......
mori koran : let it go on, leave them alone!
tatsuko : !
mori koran (on the big screen) : if the match ends here, I suppose kuu wouldn’t be happy with it either. so as the sponsor of the tournament, I give them permission to continue!

Volume 6 Chapter 4 : Kuu IX (Arrival of Homura)

recca : cough! cough!
kukai : stand up......

(beats up recca even more.)

domon : hanabishi!
fuuko : give up! that’s enough! you’ll die!

recca : not yet! our enemies this time is Kurei's Uruha, it can't be over so soon! just look at koganei......

(koganei is serious, shiju stands up)

genjuro : even though koganei is still a kid, he was a member of the uruha, you can't defeat him in your current stage, shiju...... it's time to awaken the bestial genes buried in your mind.

(he reaches out his hand and his fingers enters shiju's forehead)

audience A (sweatdrop) : the kid defeated the monster.
audience B : Uruha Maboroshi can't even beat hokage, they suck.
neon (mad) : they are useless!
recca : koganei kaoru, you were great!
domon (laughing) : that's right, you were great!

(scene shift)

side text : and fuuko right now is...

nemi : as a result of an agreement between the two teams, hokage switches their second fighter to mikagami tokiya. (the picture on the main score board switches) mokuren vs. mikagami, begin!
recca : they even switched the pictures! (eyes bulging) [what was cheap!]
kagero : if you go fight mokuren with your flame, you would endanger koganei who is trapped inside. so he made the right choice. his clarity and logic during battle is mikagami's greatest strength.
mokuren (attack) : come on, let's get going. I want to squash like a bug!

(his roots reach out for tokiya who slashes and breaks them all)

kagero : actually, he really wants to save koganei on his own, they fought before and mikagami really respects his skills... that's why he despises mokuren even more. I suppose that cold and uncaring mikagami is slowly changing.
audience : what the hell! all the roots broke! come on, finish off that girly guy...
mokuren : I don't need you to tell me... (laugh)

(his roots regenerate, and hits tokiya)
