tokiya (watching in disdain) : such happy fools.

(japanese style doors open, kurei and raiha kneeling outside. there's an old woman, well, not that old... inside)

kurei : long time no see. (takes off his mask as an act of respect)

(kurei kneeling in front of his mother.)

guard A (blowing bubble gum) : heh... even though his appearance changed, he's really only a kid.

kurei (looks somewhat sad) : I'll be back. (bow, close door)

guard A : so you're leaving finally!

(two men in masks and suit are talking)

mask B : [it's horrible... kuu lost, and I tossed away a lot of money.]
mask A : [it was very unexpected, you would've made considerable gains if you bet on the hokage!]

tokiya (anger) : no, you went too far... how much do you know about me? do make me laugh! what do you know? (punch recca)
recca : ah!
tokiya : don't always act so stupidly protective of yanagi. plus I'm not kurei, I'm not after your princess.
recca : damn you... (hit tokiya) when did I ever act like that? (those two get in a fight)
yanagi : stop it! you two, stop fighting!

(next day already)

side text : it's not a matter of who's right and who's wrong... because of certain reasons, their small problems were magnified. even though they didn't beat up on each other on purpose, their friendship has been strained. (back ground is the score board for today's battles)
tatsuko : I am tatsuko! today's battles will be determining the eight advancing teams! of all the powers in this tournament, would the winner come from one of the four remaining teams in division A? the first battle of the third day-- on one side, it's the only team in this tournament that's completely composed of female members! uruha oto! (neon, aki and miki appears)
audience : wow! they're all really cute! good luck! pretty ladies! we're rooting for you.
tatsuko : the opposing side is hokage! a special introduction of their captain, recca!
fuuko (not too happy) : why do they have a special introduction of that guy only?
koganei (too short, can't even see his face, hair only) : it's really strange.
domon (sweatdrop) : ??

(recca and tokiya still doesn't appear too friendly)

yanagi (worried) : [recca... mikagami senpai...]

side text : on the third day of the ura butou satsujin, only 16 teams remains. hokage has been successfully advancing lately, but some changes occurred. because recca and mikagami aren't on very good terms. as for how this will affect their performance... that is still unknown...

Volume 8 Chapter 3 : LIVE II (Opening)

tatsuko : on the third day, division A has only two more battles remaining... first, it's hokage team vs. uruha oto! uruha oto is a three women team will all female members! their captain neon!! miki!! (black hair girl) aki!! (white hair girl) their opponent is the five member team, hokage! it's an incredibly strong team... but their member koganei, who joined them during the round with uruha maboroshi, will be forfeiting! even though he is a little kid, he's fighting capabilities are very high! his inability is a great loss for the hokage!

(the madougu crystal with the word "words" on it is shining everytime aki speaks, it's on a ring around her neck)

kagero : !! that's kotodama! it's a madougu that can place spells in spoken words! anything they say can create an illusion for the opponent! I'm afraid domon sees things that we cannot.
neon (smile) : kotodama only affects those on stage, the rest of the world only sees that idiot going crazy. kotodama's aki... isn't she the best opponent for that stupid ape man?

(domon falls)

recca : domon! wake up! wake up!

kagero : that's the madougu kotodama! everything you see is an illusion!

(aki attacks, but in domon's eyes, he only sees her standing there naked)

domon : ...... uh... I really want to... but I can't! you're seducing me! that's a really cheap shot!
fuuko (scream) : idiot! wake up! I'm gonna beat the crap out of you!
domon (even more traumatized... but wakes up a little) : did fuuko just say she was going to beat the crap out of me? (scared)

minamio : now he looks like the man who defeated me.
kagero : ishijima domon... he still hasn't used all his hidden powers... just maybe, he can become the strongest member of hokage...
domon (put kuchibashi away) : he... hehehe... ahahahahaha... (stand in front of fuuko) ahahahaha!
fuuko (sweating) : w.. what?
domon : we had a deal!
kukai : [w...]

domon (star eyes) : a kiss.

audience : wow... neon just played a note on her flute and... the stage just exploded! what frightening power! what's happening?

neon : using miki's high speed capabilities to reflect my sound attacks... there's no way you can escape. (see diagram) one of the reasons I proposed a duo was because... our cooperation is perfect.

(tokiya freezes ensui, miki attacks)

miki : idaten! (face up close)
tokiya : !
miki : you're so cute-- I really want to kiss you. but no... my lips, my face, my body, and my heart... they all belong to my sister-- (hit tokiya) hahah

(someone walking on stage, breaks the big piece of stone that was about to fall of recca and tokiya.)

recca: uh... (tokiya silent)
audience : it doesn't look like they were the ones who broke that rock! then it was... (domon walks up) ishijima domon! so he saved them! stay back! why did you disrupt the battle? it's not your turn now!
recca (domon approaching slowly) : domon... thank you... for saving me... (domon punch recca)

menou (bow) : thank you for saving my life.
joker : it was nothing. you better get going. that woman's seriously thinking about killing everyone here. if those two up there can't stop her... then it's over.
