audience (thinking it over) : ou... our... ......... that's... right... not really happy, but hokage did beat all of us!! then they will definitely be victorious!! it sounds a little strange, but we accept it!! you guys are strong!!! you represent us! don't humiliate us!! hokage!! "Block A" hokage vs. saakasu... hokage won without bloodshed-- "Block B" kaisentai vs. uruha ma, gashakura eliminated all four opponents-- (gashakura's big armor is dripping with blood) "Block C" uruha rai vs. erekiburan, uruha rai was clearly victorious. (somehow, raiha is shaking hands with the other team afterward...) "Block D" POG vs. uruha kurenai... 2 minutes and 11 seconds into the match-- POG's five members completely disappeared from the surface of the earth. (total darkness)
Volume 9 Chapter 3 : A Quite Peaceful Night
(shows the four teams that has entered the semi finals, hokage is hanabishi recca, as the team leader, mikagami, domon, koganei, and fuuko. uruha ma is magensha as the team leader, gashakura, kashamaru, and tsukishiro the mummy guy. uruha rai is so easy and simple, raiha's a one man team. uruha kurenai, kurei is the team leader, noroi is the guy in the mask, and there are two unknowns plus mikoto whose face is unknown)
text : the four teams has been determined! other than hokage, everyone else is a faction of uruha!! they are all the best of the best! with incredible fighting abilities.

yukie's note : ok, I know this is not exactly one of the "raiha chapters", but I just had an urge to talk about him. I guess he is a mystery that the author had foreshadowed from the very beginning, I'm up to vol 21 has he still never showed us his true power, but every since vol 1, everytime madougus are mentioned, there was one with a RAI crystal, on the scroll in the first few volumes that belonged to recca's teacher, the scroll opened up and stopped right before it reveals the image for raijin, and obviously from what happens later we see that raiha has a really cold and dark side to him, but normally he's always so nice. I mean, when the other teams eliminated their opponents etc, raiha shook hands with his and passed to the next round, nothing that happened suggested that he killed anyone, or did anything bloody...
everything he did all had a reason or purpose behind it. he never really fooled around as things unfolds. and I have no idea when he joined the uruha and became a jyushinshuu but it seems like he's been there from the very beginning, when neon wanted to join the uruha, she had to speak to raiha and get his permission, when kurenai was killed, back when kurei was still half good, raiha was already at his side. I really want to know how long he's been there... *sigh* from vol 15, I figured that his best friends in the uruha were neon and jisho because they were the ones who truly worshipped kurei, and they training together etc, but then again it would be kinda sad because the people that are his only true friends don't even know his true self at all. few points about raiha that sums it up...
--he gets mad when people insult kurei
--kurei doesn't completely trust him no matter how loyal he appears
--but he knows all of kurei's secrets, including his mother tsukino
--he's been with kurei forever
--his madougu somehow is a very important item in the hokage books, but didn't appear yet
--he really is not like any of the other jyushinshuu pepole and he does not work together with anyone
--he was admitted by rasen and kirin as the strongest man in jyushinshuu
--his hidden power is incalculable
--he appears goofy
--every stupid thing he does has an underlying cause
--no one, not even kurei, understands him

tokiya : from the shape yes, but it's probably used as sword. that curved blade that he uses is similar to the S shaped sword "shietel" from Egyopia (Arabia from what I can understand...) or the or the "talewall" from mainland indian tribes. it's a very powerful weapon to be used on humans. (ok, someone help me out. what the hell is a shyuteru? or a taruwaaru? I know they are these curves swords, in fact that shietel or whatever is the type of blade on Quatre's Sandrock Gundam. anyway watch GWing? email me if you know. but there are diagrams in the book.)

(tsukishiro comes out of the eclipse/invisible cloak and attacks kaoru)

tsukishiro : do you know the study of light? the reason you can see something, is because that object reflects light. (diagram of light shone on an object, which goes three ways, reflected, absorbed, and deflected.) three things will happen when light is shone on an object-- reflected, absorbed, and deflected. through these three reactions, we are able to SEE the object. then, if these reactions doesn't occur... then you can't see anything! to be able to make the light reaction weak to the point of transparency-- that's this piece of cloth oboro!!
(he waves oboro and disappears like an eclipse.)

Madoka --form five-- the king of flame barriers. the fire balls from his three eyes can form a barrier.
Nadare --form two-- it can shoot out numerous fire balls at once. it also has the most stable personality.
Homura --form three-- flame in the form of a whip. it can wrap around the arm while punching, and has many uses.
Setsuna --form four-- at the moment it opens its eye in the middle of its face, shun en is activated, and burns all those who sees it complete, it's cruel and violent.

(back at the dome, after recca beats kashamaru, he goes on to face gashakura.)

(magensha creates a black hole/warp in the space right above him which sort of alters the surrounding space too, recca looks rather shocked)

domon (another shock) : what...!!?
tatsuko (confuse) : what...? was that...!?
(tsukishiro and kashamaru gets sucked in, they look pretty much pathetic...)
kashamaru : n...
tsukishiro : nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo--!!
magensha : I told you, you were not allowed to back up. for what's before you... tsukishiro, kashamaru! no more hesitation--
kashamaru : gyaaaaaaaa!!
(both morons gets sucked in, the warp closes.)
magensha (wave) : good luck...
recca : what was that for, magensha!!! they were just... where did they disappear to!?
magensha : those two lost because they were weak. I've learned not to go easy on them, mister recca...
audience : d... did you see...? and that strange weapon he used to beat jisho... this guy's the real monster...!!
(domon look very shaky... and I think a little big nervous/scared)
text : "hanabishi!! you better finish off the others!!" the captain of this round, domon, is really praying because he might run into magensha otherwise!!
gashakura (on stage) : so, the entertainment is over!le'ts begin now!! hn?
(recca doesn't look very well, in fact, he's breathing heavily, sweating heavily... etc...)
