(the bird fades away first, and karura is slowly falling, kinda dissolving into feathers... the last thing she sees before she closed her eyes was her sister)
text : ...karyoubinga... (everyone watches in horror) I'm sorry, I won't be able to avenge you. but I kept my last promise to you.
karyoubinga (faint image) : [onee-sama, live with your own heart. (smile) just be free... ...be free......]
(karyoubinga seems to be with karura as she dies)

(she fades off into feathers)
everyone : karura-ou-------------!!
souma (crying) : karura-ou...... *sob sob* (kendappa looks kinda sad too)
zouchouten : ...pid...... ...stupid fool... (clenching his fist and crying too) you're a stupid fool......
(feathers flies in the air and one lands in yasha's hand and fades away, kisshouten is kinda upset, and in the mean time...... the rings on a staff jingles, kujaku is standing at the gates of ashurajou, looking serious for once. he chants as his eyes - all three of them - are half closed)
kujaku : oh stars, reveal to me the path you direct the future. the wheel of fate that makes no mistake, as the product of prophecies made by generations of stargazers in the past, behold as I am the one who inherits the stargazer's blood. there is only one fate in the stars, and there is only one which they speak of. (smiles) no one, whether they are to break the binds or accept as it comes, can rebel before the future se in the path of the stars......
(back to the battle)
kendappa-ou : karura-ou...... (to souma) now you know. there's not chance for you to defeat taishakuten. you are a gentle person yet your will is strong. once you've set your mind on defeating taishakuten, nothing can deter you. right? that's why I let you go, although I didn't want to. if that was the path you have chosen...... yasha-ou is strong. when I heard that yasha-ou was on a journey, I put you, who wanted to bring down taishakuten, in the care of kisshouten-sama. I thought that if you were with him, you won't be dying so easily. (she's speaking normally but there are tears) I didn't want you do die......
souma : my lord......
kendappa-ou : I had always hoped that you would change your mind during the journey... but it seems to be all useless. as expected, fate cannot be changed. (sword) those who betray tentei... will die! (attack)

(angrily slashes, but bishamonten comes into the picture standing in front of taishakuten)
bishamonten (block) : did I tell you that I am your opponent.
yasha-ou (super angry slash) : WAHHHHHH
bishamonten (big explosion, he blocks but with a bit trouble) : uh... (falls back)
kisshouten (worried) : bishamonten...!
bishamonten (looks up at the balcony) : !! [...kisshouten...] (inexplicable expression)
maids : kisshouten-sama......? (kisshouten definitely looks upset)
yasha-ou (attack taishakuten) : AHHHHHHHH
taishaku-ten (smirk) : I will stop the prophecy from coming true......
yasha-ou : yama... TEN ROU KEN!!
(big clash, yasha is pushed back)
taishaku-ten (smile) : ...i have... a promise I must keep even if I give up my life...
(elsewhere, kujaku is kinda going into a trance, a lot of scenes flashes by, you see a woman holding the stargazer's staff, or at least her back... someone, who looks like that woman, and a little boy being locked in a cave-like cell behind bars. a man came to see them. the little boy looks awfully like kujaku ^^ the man and woman speaks, the little boy is begging his mother... the mother laughs crazily, the man looks angry, the boy goes to the bars and yell at the man, he turns around and walks out on them. blood splash on the ground, the boy is kneeling down in pain with black wings spread out on his back... he cries, the woman says something... finally a clear view of the woman, through the boy's eyes, she looks so sad and there's a mark on her forehead of the stargazer... black feathers fly in the air and the rings on the staff continues to jingle...)
kujaku (continuing the chanting as before) : ashura, yasha-ou. the wheels of fate continues to spin......
(the picture has him standing there holding the staff with his eyes closed... next)
taishaku-ten : you can't win against me. (yasha goes for another wave of attack but bishamonten cuts in again)
yasha-ou : !! move!
bishamonten : there's no way the shitennou are going to lose to a bushinshou. in addition, you who cannot even protect your own people, has no chance against tentei.
(yasha looks angry and another big explosion... meanwhile the other parts of the palace lies in ruins, everyone dead)
ashura : destruction and slaughter. heheheh (licks blood from his finger) ......death to all...... (he's sitting on a mount of corpse) my wish is... (looks really crazy, holding a decapitated head) eternal emptiness and peace. blood... flame... and silence. (wielding the shuratou) now that my other half has truly been resurrected, the gate to ashurajou is opening. city of illusion, on the surface of the water, hear your master's summon. I am the warrior god, ashura-ou, the last ruler destined in the stars, the ultimate destroyer who will carry out your prophecy. I am the "break" that will destroy heaven!
(shuratou glows, on the other hand, yasha's yamatou glows too)
yasha-ou : [yama-tou!! yama-tou is responding!! yama-tou and shura-tou always synchronizes. (shouldn't think too much while he's fighting) did something happen to shura-tou!? and who killed ryu-ou, who went to find ashura. who else in this city aside from us and the shitennou can possibly defeat ryu-ou!? are you alright? ashura!! where are you now!?]
(while he's busy thinking, bishamonten caught him not concentrating and slashed him, just a little wound on the cheek)
bishamonten : I caught an opening, yasha-ou! do you really have the leisure to think in the middle of a fight.
kisshouten (seems torn) : [yasha-ou! bishamonten!]
maids : kisshouten-sama, it's too dangerous here, please go outside!!] (the place starts to collapse) hurry! kisshouten-sama! (escorting her out as she looks back at the two men fighting)
(kujaku continues his prophecies. hanranya is in her room and her water mirror is spilled on the floor, and she also seems to be struggling)
hanranya (apparently her powers are being disrupted by kujaku's) : a prophecy staff...!? (she can hear the ringing... the water on the group conjure up kujaku's image) [t... that's... (shock to see kujaku holding the staff) a stargazer's staff......!? (gets a better look at him) black wings... the eye on his forehead is the mark of the fallen. why is the fallen wielding the stargazer's staff!?]
(yasha and bishamonten continues to fight)
yasha-ou : [I won't lose to you like this!! I will avenge my people who were killed by bishamonten! (thinks back to all the victims of taishakuten, should I list them all? his people, his brother w/ wife, the dancer girl, karura w/ sister, kuyo, ashura-ou... that's about it) for all those people who have died in the hands of taishakuten, for karura-ou who died before she realized her goal, for ryu-ou, for the sake of protecting ashura, I WILL DEFEAT TAISHAKUTEN!!] (burst of power) AHHHHHHHHHHH (big explosion) YA MA TEN ROU KEN!!
(bishamonten stabs his uh... light saber into yasha-ou, but yasha fiercely push him back, the place collapse some more, it seems to be collapsing for a few years by now but no, it's just me...)
kisshouten : !
maids : ahhhhh, kisshouten-sama!
everyone (watch in shock) : !!!
(the end result is bishamonten lying in a pool of blood)
kisshouten (turn around and runs back) : Ahhhhh! BISHAMONTEN! bishamonten!! (is it just me or does taishakuten look kinda sad!!? I'm sure it's not over bishamonten's death but... reminds him of something ^^) don't die...... please...... (hugs him) open...... open your eyes!
bishamonten (touch her face, she's crying) : kisshouten...... you have never shed your tears for me...... I don't want to see your tears...... but I always put you in pain...... and make you cry...... and this is my punishment............ that is all...... you are my flower...... a flower... I could never have...... that I wanted... no matter what... that I clipped by force... but only hurt in the end...... (everyone kinda watching in surprise) but...... I just wanted you by my side...... that... was all...... my... only... wish...... (his hand falls)
kisshouten : NOOOOOOOOO PLEASE!! OPEN YOUR EYES!! I BEG YOU! DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE! BISHAMONTEN!!
(ok the words were kinda very big, anyway, everyone was all surprised that she reacted so violently)
yasha-ou : ...kisshouten...
taishaku-ten (approach her) : I had a deal with bishamonten once. when I decided to rebel against the last tentei three hundred years ago, bishamonten said this to me. I can be your co-conspirator and join in the rebellion, but what I seek in return for giving myself in the war of heaven is that when we are victorious, I want kisshouten as my wife.
kisshouten : [eh!?]
(flashback)
bishamonten : there is no other way to get what I want, other than by force.
taishaku-ten : but then you will never have her heart for as long as you live.
(bishamonten looks up, on the balcony above stood the emperor, kisshouten and ashura ou and they are all talking, and looks happy... meanwhile him and taishakuten are in the garden below)
bishamonten : even so...... it's fine with me. it's fine as long as I have her by my side...... I'm wishing for anything more than that. (kisshouten looks down and sees them in the garden, and looks a bit embarrassed)
taishakuten : and so bishamonten became my right hand man. in exchange, I promised the life of the last emperor's daughter, kisshouten, in the heaven under my rule. that was my deal with bishamonten. therefore you live in my world... solely for bishamonten's sake. (looks evil ^^) however bishamonten is dead now. (stabs kisshouten) then I don't need you anymore.

yasha-ou : KISSHOUTEN! (she falls on bishamonten)
kisshouten : I have...... always love you too...... always...... (flashback scene of young kisshouten and bishamonten) I have always... liked... you......
taishaku-ten (can't see his face) : although you love each other, your hearts do not meet.
kisshouten (yell back angrily) : you have no right to be tentei! you play with people's lives. because of you...!
taishaku-ten (smirk) : you don't know... what your father did, do you. such a loved daughter.
(scene flash to kujaku and his jingling staff, I should clarify something, the man in kujaku's flashback looks awfully familiar ^^ flash back to taishakuten)
taishaku-ten : your father ruled over a peaceful world, and claims to be the most admired tentei since the beginning of time.
kisshouten : [w... hat......]
taishaku-ten (eyes narrow) : however, in secret he has committed a most despicable act. (flash scene of kujaku)
kisshouten : [this man... what is he talking about... my kind father, what wrong could he have done? poor father... (loving scene of father and daughter) it must have been regrettable... what despicable act could such a father have done......? (the staff jingles, tentei's decapitated head) the holy emperor has committed the worst of the worst of sins......?] (struggling on the ground) you are the one who is despicable, taishakuten......!!how dare you... make...... such a lie......!!
taishaku-ten (smile) : so you don't believe me...... well, whatever. (he slashed kisshouten in half, flash scene of kujaku)
souma : KISSHOUTEN-SAMA!
maids (cover their faces) : kisshouten-sama!
(kendappa is expressionless and zouchouten seems regrettable, kisshouten lies over bishamonten)
taishaku-ten (smile) : is the blood of your beloved woman warm? bishamonten......
(yasha seems rather upset... and attacks taishakuten in a burst of energy)
yasha-ou : AHHHHHHHH
(kujaku stood there holding his staff with a blank look)
kujaku : kisshouten...... has died...... just now......
(flashes of the young girl kisshouten, being hugged by her father, looks all happy and stuff, and in the near by bushes, a little boy hid, watching them... a little boy with black wings. the scene of the happy father/daughter shatters into the woman locked up with her son, begging the man, she looks so sad and hugs her son. in the next scene she pinned him to the ground and is trying to strangle him)
kujaku : ...the daughter destined to be loved since birth......
(staff jingles, switch to yasha fighting taishakuten)
yasha-ou : you... you alone, I cannot forgive!! MEI OU HA YOU ZAN!! (big blast, and this time it seem to have some effect on taishakuten
taishaku-ten (smile, electric current charges through his sword) : thunder, strike! (electric current runs through the entire city, and he makes his first serious strike with his sword) RAI KOU KOU RIN!!
souma (worried) : watch out! yasha-ou!!
yasha-ou : !! (clash)
souma : YASHA-OU!

taishaku-ten : I live only for the "promise" I exchanged with someone a long time ago. and I will keep that promise even if it means seeing the tears of thousands and crossing mountains from the millions dead.
(suddenly... someone appears)

yasha-ou : ashu...ra......? (looks at the grown up version) are you ashura...?
ashura : yes, I am ashura. this is my real appearance, after the seal has been broken.

ashura : there are two seals on the sword. two mikos who protects the key of the seal. (scene of the two sisters) what originally belonged has returned to its rightful place. (raises the sword high) shuratou's last seal has been broken. and I am freed from my bindings.
kendappa-ou (flashback of when she was with little ashura) : ashura......?
souma (seems upset) : prince......
taishaku-ten (seems regrettable) : it appears "the seal of blood" doesn't have the power to change the path of the stars. (yasha is surprised by his words)
(flash to kujaku)
kujaku : the wheel of fate is spinning, towards the end.

yasha-ou : ashura...! ryu-ou went to find you but he died. who killed him!?
ashura : if you really want to know, (smile) the one who killed ryu-ou was...... ...ME...
(everyone seems shocked *oh please save the typical-ness of it all*)
ashura : I killed my mother the miko shashi and broken the last seal.
prophecy : Six stars fall

ashura : shuratou awoke and the prophecy has been fulfilled.
yasha-ou (horrified) : it... can't be, ashura killed ryu-ou...? by kuyo's prophecy, the six stars are suppose to break the skies!
prophecy (flash to kujaku) : At the tip of the destiny being woven

yasha-ou : being one of the six stars...! why did you kill ryu-ou who is also one of the six stars!!
prophecy (ryu-ou lying in a pool of blood, and shashi, and bishamonten and kisshouten) : Though neither good nor evil be determined

The gathering of the Six Stars forewarns the end of Heaven (flash to kujaku)
ashura : yes, the six stars will break the skies... (smile) THEY WILL DESTROY HEAVEN!! (everyone looks too shocked) and the red flame will burn away all evil. meaning "what I see as evil"! (big destructive blast) I wish to ruin everything! and stain heaven red in blood and flames!!
(people outside are just watching in awe as the city begins to plunder)
prophecy : But to the side of the Darkness one will come
Who governs the orbit of the stars and rules both the Dark Star and the Heavenly Star
That one, not even my zodiac can ascertain
The red flame that you nurture

yasha-ou (yelling in vain T.T;;;) : ashura!! ashura!! STOP!!
ashura : that's why I said you are a courageous but foolish man. the price is great for "breaking my slumber", it's not what you can handle. I've warned you, but still provoking me, that is your crime. (leaves)
yasha-ou : ashura!!
(ashura faces taishakuten seriously)
taishaku-ten (seems a bit sad?) : I will not break my "promise"...... (they fight, more destruction...)
ashura : ..."promise"... (leans in playfully) so who did you make this promise with?
(taishakuten slashes and ashura jumps out of the way)
ashura : ahahaha!
yasha-ou (watching in shock) : [loving to fight, enjoying destruction from the bottom of his heart]
ashura (destroy some more) : AHAHAHAHA!
yasha-ou : [is that really ashura!? (why is he always saying such stupid useless things?)]
taishaku-ten (smirk) : is that... your true power......?
ashura (more blasts) : that's correct. the ashura clan is tenkai's strongest warrior gods. the god of blood, flames and destruction. we were born into this world for the sake of destroying everything.
taishaku-ten : that was... exactly what ashura-ou had feared, "the real ashura"!
(flash to kujaku who stands at the gate of ashurajou alone, with his staff, then flash to yasha-ou's sword, the sword seems to be vibrating and it disturbs ashura)
yasha-ou : yamatou is...! (ashura seems to have a headache) ashura!? (the vibs that the sword is giving off is really disrupting ashura) ASHURA!? what's wrong! ashura!! ashura!! (what a moron >.<;;)
ashura (looks up fiercely) : AHHHHH the one who disrupts me... I will kill you!! (attack yasha) YASHA-OU!!
(switch to kujaku)
text : for the future that will come one day, for in order to resist the chosen fate, I had forged a sword. (a man in black wings holding a sword appears to a village from the skies) hoping that the sword will guide "ashura" with its power. I handed the sword to the yasha clan, waiting for it to be passed to yasha-ou. (man, kujaku is old! ~.~;;) but can't it stop ashura? can it not change the destiny of ashura destroying heaven? the times those two spent together all becomes meaningless before "ashura"? no matter what I do, am I still unable to change ashura's fate? is the destined fate absolute? are the stars unable to be changed? I search in yasha-ou and ashura for an "affinity" enough to move "fate", but is it all pointless. (drawings of the past stargazers)
(let me explain the above long paragraph for a bit, it's somewhat confusing? kujaku made the sword *duh* and gave it to yasha, because he foresaw all that was coming, everything that he has done is really him searching for some answers to fate. he wants to see if emotional affinity can change what was destined and he wants to find it in yasha and ashura)
yasha-ou (defending) : ashura! (ashura just continues to attack him) wake up, ashura!! (as if him screaming that will do anything)
ashura (calls his sword) : [shuratou!] (smirk) tenkai's strongest warrior, bushinshou of the north, yasha-ou. it is befitting to fight you with shuratou. (more blasts, ashura obviously thinks it's fun) AHAHAHAH.
yasha-ou : ASHURA!!
ashura (stab the sword into yasha's shoulder) : you're ashura is no longer here. (touches his heart) he died in here. (licks yasha's blood on his sword)
yasha-ou : ASHURA!!!
(ARGHHHHHH does he really only have a ONE WORD VOCABULARY LIST!!??? this is beyond pathetic!!! I can't take it anymore *allow me time to scream* AHHHHHHHHHHHH do something for once you pathetic stupid moron! *and of course like we all have expected... in the following how many pages??? oh actually throughout the rest of the book, he doesn't do anything*)
ashura (kicks him) : pathetic. (I agree!) is that all for tenkai's greatest bushinshou. you won't be able to stop me like that. I am different from all the past ashura-ou who slaves for tentei under the seal. there's no one to order me and no seals because I am the real ashura. (looks like he's about to kill yasha) in the moment I awakened, so sealed the fate to die of all those who are alive. (stab)
souma : YASHA-OU-------!!!
(the gates that kujaku is standing on glows and ray of light shoots up. the whole place quakes and is covered in light)
ashura (covering his eyes) : [the light......] (and he vanishes)
yasha-ou : ashura!?
taishaku-ten (calmly) : ashurajou... is welcoming its master.
yasha-ou : ashurajou!? (obviously you see, there's a lot of things that he doesn't know and that taishakuten knows...)
taishaku-ten : ashurajou has been revived. (looks like he's gonna leave) I must keep my promise.
(they glare at each other, souma suddenly jumps into the picture)
yasha-ou : souma!!
souma : I'll take care of it here! you go after the prince! if he really is the prince of ashura... then! then...... please stop him somehow...... killing and destruction, I'm sure they are not what that gentle prince wants to see. take care of him. (yasha leaves and she turns back to taishakuten) my name is souma! I am the only survivor of the souma clan which you destroyed! I will avenge the death of my parents and my people! (fiercely) I will defeat you! Sougetsu Ranbu! (attack, lots of explosions, but she poses no threat to taishakuten)
kendappa-ou (on the side) : ...souma...
(meanwhile, in the water mirror, kujaku's image appears...)
hanranya (ask unsurely) : who... are you...?
kujaku (eyes slightly open) : ~I am... the true successor who has inherited in blood and name of the "stargazer"~
hanranya : those dark purple eyes are the proof of a mazoku, and the third eye on your forehead...! it's the "brand of the fallen", the result of a crime even unworthy of a mazoku! such a person cannot possibly be a stargazer......!!
kujaku : ~you who sees the past and future in the water mirror's reflection, you will know it all if you take a glance at my past.~ (and he fades back into the water)
(hanranya touches the water mirror, and she sees a man and a woman, the ex-emperor, and a woman with the marking of a stargazer on her forehead)
hanranya : that can't be...! that's...! (looks really shocked and scared) ...you are... the last emperor's...!? (scene of the woman locked up behind bars, kujaku is expressionless)
(more explosions, and I'm sick of typing the words "explosion", "blast", "attack")

(she gets thrown back, kendappa stands in front of taishakuten... yeah! about another 100 pages to the end of the story ^^)
souma : [my...... lord......!!]
kendappa-ou : I will take care of this one.
taishaku-ten : why do you have that expression, you weren't even slightly upset when you watched your own father die before your eyes.
kendappa-ou (looks so painfully sad) : because souma is...... the only person I ever loved......
taishaku-ten (can't see his face) : the person you love......
(kendappa then expressionlessly face souma and they fight)
zouchouten (watching on the side) : ......amazing...... [that survivor of the souma clan girl is definitely not weak, but the opponent is bad. kendappa-ou is too strong!!]
souma (lying in a pile of ruin) : my... lord...... (kendappa leans close to her and her tears drop on souma's face) you can't win against taishakuten... therefore... I rather kill you myself. (stabs souma)
souma : ken...... dappa...o......u (reach out and touch the earring she gave kendappa)
kendappa-ou (holding her hand) : I'm...sorry... i......... couldn't violate...... what I have...... already decided... [I only follow the strong, this man is the strongest in tenkai. (young kendappa standing before taishakuten in court) right now this man is the strongest. I hate weak people. I live only for the strong.] souma...... you are strong...... (souma is dying and kendappa takes her hand that's holding the moon blade and cuts into her own throat with it, while taishakuten and zouchouten are watching)
kendappa-ou (smiles) : there's no point to live in tenkai without you......

kendappa-ou (falls) : [......souma...... ......i like you......]
souma (horror) : MY LORD!! (struggling to get up) ju...st...... take...... take...... my blood... (tries to let her blood drip on kendappa) there's the story that the souma clan...... can grant immortality to one person in their life time...... please...... my lord...... it's only...... for you...... (taishakuten looks at them expressionlessly)

taishaku-ten (smirk) : kendappa-ou didn't want to live. (looks at them) it is... painful...... to live in a world by yourself without the person you love. (zouchouten looks at him in surprise like he's never seen this side of taishakuten, but enough with the chit chat, taishakuten smiles darkly and turns to leave) leave the city, zouchouten. (he lets souma and kendappa lie together) the wheel of fate is spinning, however...... the prophecy will not come true. the path of the stars which the stargazers foretold...... to keep the one and only promise I have made in my life, I will twist it even if it's the path of stars.
(switch to ashura and yasha, ashura is standing at the gates of ashurajou)
yasha-ou : ASHURA! ASHURA!! (I'm telling ya, one word vocab) ASHURA!! ASHURA!!
(ashura disappears into the light but he can't get through, suddenly, kujaku flies down on his wings)
kujaku : it appears ashurajou has welcomed its new master.

(night scene??? ^^;; this is clamp's *ahem* favorite *ahem* shounen ai *ahem* scene... however they are not really shounen... but still... yaoi pairing ^_^)
taishaku-ten : so the next ashura-ou will destroy the world.........
ashura-ou : the stargazer kuyo's prophecy is never wrong............... I feel like I'm committing a crime, the crime in attempting to defy the destiny that heaven has chosen. the crime that if fate cannot be changed, this world will fall to hell. and, the crime of...... wishing that even so, my son, the next ashura-ou can be born.
taishaku-ten (touch ashura-ou's beautiful hair) : if that is your wish, then I promise you. even if millions will bleed and everyone falls to hell, I will keep this promise with you. I will not allow the prince of ashura to be resurrected as a god of destruction.
ashura-ou : I met yasha-ou today.
taishaku-ten : the one who is destined to awaken your son?
ashura-ou : he is a boy with pretty eyes. (looks sad)
taishaku-ten : then I shall become tentei, for your sake. I will control everything in heaven to watch over the gathering of the six stars around your son, to stop the prophecy from coming true.
(scene fades into blackness *cough cough* inappropriate for children. ^_^ next scene, already in the middle of the fight, taishakuten leads his rebellion and meets ashura-ou in battle)
taishaku-ten : all of zenmijou's forces have fallen...... it's only you and tentei left.
ashura-ou : ......i see...... then this is my last wish. raijin taishakuten.
(his eyes glow in flames, and shuratou comes out of his hand, he fights with taishakuten, lots of explosions, the result is taishaku-ten wounded, ashura-ou still standing there like before)
taishaku-ten : [he's strong...!! is this the power of the real ashura that even ashura-ou is afraid of?]
ashura-ou (can't see his face) : kill me...... and eat my body. (taishakuten looks shocked) if...... the path of stars cannot be changed...... before my son becomes the god of destruction...... I want you to kill him...... and for that you need strength.
(in the end of that fight, taishakuten stabbed his sword into ashura-ou's heart, but his expression is completely blank)
ashura-ou (before he dies) : everything I have...... is all yours now......
(and he dies. in smoke and blood... shuratou begins to disappears... taishakuten is chewing down ashura-ou's corpse, with a rather blank or mixed expression, and as he ate, an eye slowly appeared on his forehead)
yasha-ou : a stargazer cannot prophesize another stargazer!?
kujaku (here comes a spoiler if you didn't know already) : my father is the last emperor, and my mother is his older sister, the stargazer two generations ago (the one before kuyo), sousei-ou. (shows yasha his eye) I'm actually a product of incest between brother and sister. my father who detested my birth locked up my mother and I, my mother died from madness in there..... father was known as the greatest tentei since the beginning of time, and died in admiration of his people, however there was one hidden crime that he committed. this is the proof of the stargazer's blood inside me, (touches his eye) the third eye "punishment for an act unworthy of even the mazoku".
taishaku-ten (suddenly appear) : then you are the last emperor's "cursed prince".
yasha-ou : taishakuten!!
kujaku : the ones who know about the last emperor's sin, aside from himself, sousei-ou who passed away, and I... there is only the guardian warrior ashura-ou who knows the truth using his Maya. (points his staff at taishaku-ten) so you ate ashura-ou. (yasha seems shocked) you ate ashura-ou's body and received his maya. ashura-ou once said...... the child that will be born will become the prince who destroys the world. however he said, I still want to give my child life, and change the path of stars in search for a different future...... he chose not to believe in...... a "certain tomorrow"...... and he married the miko shashi... being one of the miko who holds the seal of shuratou on her forehead, he thought the child would not kill his real mother. if you do not kill the miko, you cannot have the seal on her forehead. therefore, raijin taishakuten took shashi as his wife in order to watch her.
yasha-ou : NO...!! (man he knows way too little) ashura is the prince who will destroy the world......? then you're saying that the six stars are only the key for the resurrection of the god of destruction, ashura-ou!?
kujaku : yes, several seals were placed over ashura. the seal of the maya forest where ashura slept for three hundred years. the two seals of the two miko who protects the shuratou. and the gathering of six stars which will awaken the god of destruction inside ashura, when they die the real ashura will awaken. therefore taishakuten became tentei and ruled with an iron fist. he wanted to use the power to suppress the six stars from gathering...... however it was all useless. the six stars met according to the prophecy of the stargazers.
yasha-ou (angrily to taishakuten) : if you don't want the god of destruction to awaken, then why did you kill karura-ou!!
taishaku-ten (looks almost sad) : even though she cannot defeat me, karura-ou still wishes from her heart to fight me. if I don't kill her, her soul will torn and unfulfilled and she won't be able to go to hades to see her beloved karyoubinga. there is nothing more painful...... than to wander alone in the world without the one you love. (yasha appears upset)
kujaku : now five of the six stars have fallen, when the last one remaining, yasha-ou loses his life, the god of destruction will completely be resurrected. the stargazer's prophecy has come true......
yasha-ou : ashura and I are still live!!
kujaku : ashura... is dead.
ashura (flashback) : your ashura is no more, he died in here. [he died----]
kujaku : the adorable ashura whom you raised is no longer here. you are the only one who remains of the six stars, yasha-ou. (the whole place suddenly quakes)
taishaku-ten : ashurajou is awakening. my promise... to ashura-ou...... the price so that his body is forever mine...... (his energy is electrocuting the place) is to stop the six stars from gathering...... and if the stars really do gather, then, I WILL KILL ASHURA'S PRINCE!! (someone appears/emerges from ashurajou)
yasha-ou : but...... then, i...... awakened the one who will destroy the world, and raised him!? (ashura appears in full ashura-ou armor)
yasha-ou : ASHURA!!
text : the ashura clan is the strongest warrior gods in heaven, they are the god of blood, flames and destruction. they were born into this world for the purpose of obliterating everything. (yasha looks into ashura's cold blank eyes and the image of the little kind ashura shatters)
(energy charge through his sword, taishakuten attacks ashura)
yasha-ou : TAISHAKUTEN!?
taishaku-ten : I WILL KILL THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION! THAT IS MY PROMISE!!
yasha-ou : STOP!!
(ashura jumps past taishakuten to attack yasha)
kujaku (watching) : [so fate really cannot be changed...? ashura will take the power of the dead six stars, and when he kills the last of the stars, yasha-ou, and takes his power, ashura who has gathered all of the six stars' power will become the true god of destruction. " You shall become the Break that will destroy the Heaven." the stargazer's prophecy used the plural for that reason. (you can't really tell in English, but in jap, it really is the plural "you") even taishakuten may not be able to defeat the god of destruction ashura once he has all of the power of the six stars.] yasha-ou!! [really no one can escape from their destined future!?]
kuyo (flashback) : that boy is destined to kill you...
ashura : I wish for the destruction of everything! I will paint heaven in crimson of blood and flames!!
kujaku (yasha-ou holds up his sword, ready to defend) : [is there no way to break the turns of destiny's spinning wheel!?]
ashura (the little one) : I believe in yasha. if yasha say that you need me, I live only for yasha.
(yasha suddenly remembered that scene... and in that moment, he put down his sword and stood there waiting for ashura to stab him)
ashura : ashura live only for yasha.
(the sword is an inch away from his neck... then blood splash, with the flip of the page, you see that in the last minute, ashura stabbed the sword into his own heart)
ashura : ......yasha......
yasha-ou : ASHURA!!
(ashura reach out for yasha's hand but they never touch because that weird organic cocoon grows outta nowhere once again and completely seals ashura inside)
ashura (eyes blanking out) : ya......sha......
yasha-ou (struggling free from the cocoon) : ASHURA!!
(the whole place glows and the cocoon grows larger and larger and swallows the entire city, or what's left of the city, outside...)
hanranya (fall to the ground screaming) : TAISHAKUTEN-SAMA!! taishakuten-samaaaa! (draws a dagger to her neck) ...uh! (zouchouten grabs the blade of the dagger with his remaining hand) ah......! I live only for taishakuten-sama!! I live only for his sake...... i...!! please!! PLEASE...! LET ME DIE!!
zouchouten (take the dagger away) : I'VE ALREADY SEEN ENOUGH PEOPLE DIE BEFORE ME!!
tenou (did everyone forget about him? ^^) : [aniue...!] (looks at the city intensely)
ashura (flashback) : [for someone who was loved since the time of birth. for you who lived in leisure and peace, what can you understand about me]
tenou : ANIUE--------!!!
(the entire zenmijou is sealed in a cocoon, with ashura inside... kujaku looks at the place almost a bit sadly... but here we see the full version of his story ^^)
kujaku : [ashura...... my mother would be very happy if only I was not born. we are both the same, children who should not be born.] (goes into a flashback)
sousei-ou (yelling behind bars) : let me out... please!! let me out...... ......... ........
kujaku (cute little boy ^^, worriedly) : mother......!

kujaku : mother? (sousei-ou laughs crazily) mother!! hang on!! mother!

text : I would rather die...... therefore... (a lot of blood on the ground... a pair of black wings grew out of his back, it must have been painful because apparently they came out by force >.<) only mother......
(the boy crouched against a wall and when he turned around he was crying tears of blood, and he smiled at his mother)
kujaku : so... we can leave this place...... (the woman looked at him sadly)
sousei-ou (strangling kujaku) : let us die together. we are unwanted, both you and me. we shouldn't have been brought into this world. (she looked so sadly at kujaku, kujaku looked at her, and then slowly and peacefully closed his eyes, sousei-ou seemed to suddenly make up her mind) ......!! (stab, blood spills, kujaku opens his eyes, sousei-ou stabbed her prophecy staff into her own heart)
kujaku : !! MOTHER---!!
(in the present)
kujaku : the stars continue to move, not stopping for the slightest time. ashura-ou heard the stargazer's prophecy, and in order to change its path, he exchanged a promise with taishakuten. the result was all in the stars' path. taishakuten who wished to suppress the gathering of six stars ruled with terror and in contrary, it caused the six stars to come together...... as in the path of stars. ...and as foretold by the prophecy, the final battle has begun, the fight for ashura's resurrection...... however in the very end, the stars changed their path. changed by the affinity between yasha-ou and ashura. every living thing is bounded by fate, and no one can escape. therefore the more I wanted to see with my own eyes how man's heart, their affinity changes the path of stars.
yasha-ou (as if his yelling will do anything) : ...ashura...!! ASHURA!!
kujaku : yelling is useless. (ashura looks peacefully asleep) ashura gave his life to protect you, he will probably not awaken ever again.
yasha-ou : ...i promised him that I won't leave ashura alone, I will always be with him......!
kujaku : then you can continue to wait here, yasha-ou. you can wait here until your life ends and he still may not awaken, even so will you still continue to wait for him?
yasha-ou : ...yes.

tenou (with hanranya also there, they don't look much different, but dressed differently) : but we will not forget. people who were bound to a harsh fate. we will definitely not forget. [the wheels of fate continues to spin and the stars continue to revolve in their orbit. those who cannot escape and fallen. (view of the six stars and shashi) those who continue to defy it, those who continue to watch over it. (ashura-ou, taishakuten and kujaku) and, those who broke it with their own hands. (yasha and ashura)]
zouchouten : ...long ago you said that "you lived only for the promise you've once made." has that promise ended?
taishaku-ten (smile slightly) : ......in there, there is another man who continues to keep his promise. (looks at zenmijou) ...yasha-ou is still waiting...
kujaku (suddenly appear) : because he is a stubborn father. (smile) ...truthfully, back then, you really wanted to be killed by ashura, didn't you?
taishaku-ten : because to live alone in a world without the one you love is most painful... but are you satisfied by how this has ended?
kujaku :... i... just wanted to see what it's like for fate to leave its orbit. and... to prove that ashura is not "an unwanted child", that was enough.
(it appears that more time has passed, now zenmijou is buried in a desert... and someone walks across the desert heading towards it)
kujaku : ...yasha-ou... taishakuten has died... (flies up next to yasha, whose hair has grown...... rather long since then) he passed away smiling, saying he died without breaking his promise...... now there is no one who can possibly defeat ashura. ......no, then ashura will never open his eyes ever again......
yasha-ou : ......ashura will awaken, and...... I will not let him become the god of destruction.
kujaku (smiles slightly) : then I will try to believe in that too. with the stargazer's blood that flows in me, once again... I will give you a miracle... (he suddenly stabs the staff into himself)
yasha-ou : KUJAKU!?
kujaku (chanting in midair) : open, gates of heaven. purified with my blood, hear my voice. awaken, ashura. (his blood drips on to ashura, while he seems to be fading away)
yasha-ou : KUJAKU----------!! (ashura's eyes slowly open)
kujaku (before he fades away, touches ashura's face gently) : [......good morning...... ......ashura......]
(then he fades into a lot of black feathers... the cocoon around ashura loosens and he falls out, yasha catches him)
ashura (still in grown up form) : ......kujaku...... (tears)
yasha-ou : ashura......
ashura (look at the black feathers around him) : kujaku......! ......everyone...... is dead......! (crying) all for ashura......!!
yasha-ou (looks sad too, then he hugs ashura) : ......even so, you will live on...... because you have promised me. I need you. I only live if you are there. let's stay together forever, until the end of our days.
(ok, I can see why people get the wrong idea from this, but I really don't see yasha/ashura as a shounen ai couple ok?)
yasha-ou : that is our "promise".
(the place is covered in lots of black feathers and the scene fades out... last page you see kujaku's staff and black feathers flying in the air, and the big words "THE END")

yukie's note : yay it's done it's done it's done!!!!!!!! this is the first manga series I've ever completed translating... *sigh* yokatta *relief~~~~~* while I am in such a good mood because I'm done that I am not going to say a word about how I think the ending sucks not only because almost everyone died, but most importantly kujaku died... I will leave that up to most of the readers... ah and don't forget to go start reading something else... YAWN time for my nap now ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz...
